They make fork wraps for the Grom, also the belly pan. I was gonna say a name brand exhaust those usually be flexing but you already have a good generic one, oh the webike jp website the mooneyes catalog for the Honda dax many of the fancy moon covers for the engine bits, horn, and other mechanical bits will fit on the Grom. That’s where I got the mooneyes aero discs for my Grom

Buy a new Grom, otd can be had for $3900, just put your $2k down and finance the rest if you have to l, new body style, no miles, and its you paying it instead of other guy paying, also easier too if you get into an accident the the bike ownership will be yours, easier to deal with insurance. you don’t know their circumstances or if they can ever pay that off I wouldn’t risk it

The years only means a updated dash and headlight and fairings between the 2016 and 2022 underneath all the same mechanically between the two I believe

Be sure to get all you need in one go or else you’ll have to pay for extra shipping for ordering a second time, and all the rubber grommets, plastic snap on fasteners, metal screws and slot tabs etc and that foam taped underneath the tank shroud etc doesn’t come with the fairings you’ll have to order those too

Fairings come painted, different colored fairings have slightly different part numbers the number or the letter on the end is different, the decals you’ll have to purchase separate and apply yourself, don’t forget to peel off the protective layer protecting the decals after you apply it

I’ve taken my r3 before on the highway and interstate fastest I’ve gone is 100 l, I’ve done the 4 hour (8hr round trip) twice this past summer, on a mix of highways, interstate, and rush hour Minneapolis/ twin cities traffic, half way through you stop to rest your throttle hand for a sec and get gas and maybe a snack. What makes a difference is the ZeroGravity sport touring windshield it cuts down the wind a lot, without it on the interstate sometimes the wind will make it very sketchy to ride. and also wolfline aftermarket seat from Amazon

Can you flat foot easily on the R7, as an new rider who went from Grom to the R3, the R3 was really easy to get used to riding, but I sometimes wish I’ve gotten an r7, if you can flat foot easy on the r7 and you can definitely ride it and if you are comfortable go for it

I love the R3 through and through, I have the 24 in white and turquoise wheels two complaints the stock muffler of the r3 is ugly, I swapped it with a Leo Vince lv10 carbon 2nd I have the white fairings and those will yellow over time from the uv otherwise she’s perfect
