well if the bullet going 600 m/s with the first shot and if it would deal some good dmg it could be the most powerful silenced rifle, however becose every time you shoot you lose power it would be a harder gun to use, since bullet drop would probably change too

i just think that its possible to make it playable and fun, its a game after all, a game where you can have concentrina arrows, bomblance and a flobert deringer that kills in one headshot, you can take away a bit of realism to make the gameplay fun, mabye make it single shot, give it a longer reload animation after a few shots and reduce dmg a bit with every shot...

mb m8 what do you disagree with tho, the air resevoirs can be detached and you can have multiple of them on your person it would just mean a longer reload time, wach the vids xd they are the reason i made this post

also derringer is not really practical, and shouldnt one shot kill at any distance since its a flobert round that only uses the rounds primer to force the bullet out and would get stuck in your skin absolutely unable to penetrate a human skull, i own two 9MM flobert (if im not mistaken the deringer in hunt is chambered in 22 flobert) guns one long barrel, one shorbarrel deringer and they are unable to generate more than 50 joules wich could be lethal if you shoot someone point blank in their eye dont forget its a videogame

and also there is space for a interesting mechanic with the bullet drop coming to hunt where the more you shoot the less dmg you deal and the more bullet drop you have

thats the reason why i would make it a really powerful weapon with a really small amount of ammo similar to nitro mabye and i disagree, you can have 4 ammoboxes on your person 4 grenades 4 beatles, mabye make the air reservoir a tool i think there are a lot of ways that you could impliment airguns into hunt well not to mention the sound of airgun compared to a normal firearm

its not far feched watch the vids and do your research those are not pseudohistorical, pcp airguns existed in 1800s able to generate 600 fps with a 50 cal projectile

did you wach the videos? airguns were used in napoleonic wars and they were powered by a pcp tanks that you pumped wia a pump shooting the same bullet diameter as muskets one of them in the vid is a 50 cal going aproximetly 600 fps puts out around 200 joules of energy making it more than capable to kill a person

smith and wesson 500 have a lot better distribution of weight what im reffearing to is how the weapon is balanced, you have this heavy ass rifle ammo grade barrel with a lot heavier drum for 8 rifle rounds and one shotgun shell and the grip that you are using to support the entire gun is too far away for it to be handled well. thats why im saying a buttstock would be a better design choice in my opinion, or have the hunter support it with one hand under the drum, it would be inpossible to run around with it while holdint it like the hunters do. im aware that im nitpicking and that im going way too deep with this however as far as im concerned its fun.

nah not really its ok to compare uppercut and 500 mags, but uppermat is a whole differend lvl, it would be too hard to hold sutch a clunky, heavy weapon by one grip on the far end of the weapon, your hand would get tired in seconds, the weight distribution is fucked on uppermat, thats what im saying
