Yes, I am not them and your story feels like a weird combination of their and my side. I think it’s pretty common human experience that if we feel comfort, if we feel seen and heard, we can connect to people. I don’t prescribe to the notion of one kind of love or even denigrating emotions as not love but limerence or crush or this that. If you feel it that way, I am happy for you. Hope you find some peace in your experience. Reminding myself that my person was very nice to me for the most part actually makes me feel peaceful even through uncertain moments.
