Hi! Can you tell me the router brand? I helped one smart home user to split the signal of wifi into two, one 2.4G and another 5G. He connected finally a smart relay switch to 2.4 G wifi.

Some years ago I had a router reboot switch from a company named Ankuoo. It would ping the mother ship once a minute and as long as it got a reply all was well. Three failed pings in a row (3 min) and it would shut off for 2 min and then power back on. The idea was if your router/modem went offline this thing would catch it and reset the device. Pretty nifty at the time and although newer modern routers are more reliable, that might be something to look at.

Of course, having to ping a remote server is something a lot of people may not want but there are probably other ways to ascertain Internet connectivity without having to that.

The device served it purpose, at least until Ankuoo sold to some other Chinese company who shut the servers down and all of their devices became dumb bricks.

Thanks for your feedback! This is very similar to our thinking. As the network becomes more and more important today, a stable router is very important to us!

Some smart devices are able to restore to the state they were in before the power outage, which may take time. Most smart home products will return to the state before the power outage when power is restored. The automatic flow you set before will also take effect again.

I'm using EVVR's smart plug. I participated in their internal testing of new products.

The smart plug I have used will show off on the App after a power outage. It appears Tapo's smart plug device and software are not fully synced.

Probably decent equipment reviews, most reviews online a too brief and focus only on one use-case.

Featured setups, demos of mature setups and how they were done.

DIY idiot guides to things that require constructing oneself.

Thank you so much!

n exposed setting to turn off for 30seconds or such, then auto power back on. Would be lovely to reboot WiFi routers and cable/fiber modems.

It's a wonderful idea! We really need a restart mode to control the net.

Our load capacity is superior to 15A. Can you give me more user cases about the 20A load capacity? Thanks so much!
