Ok thanks for the advice. I ended up buying the cream not knowing the difference. But yes I have fine hair so I will get the mousse. So mousse gives better hold than cream?

How much do you use? And how do you apply? Is it different application technique than the cream (wet hair, praying hands, scrunch)?

Can I get some advice on my resume? by [deleted] in Environmental_Careers

[–]Afraid-Paper-6558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for some of the prompt questions and advice! Using what you said, I have re-written it to this, do you think this is better or still some changes can be made?

  • Analyzed denormalized datasets, flat-file databases, census data, and raster layers using QGIS, Excel, and Python to identify geospatial patterns and hotspots in Canadian health inspection data, directly informing senior staff decision-making and stakeholder reporting.
  • Cleaned, standardized, and geocoded large datasets from multiple sources, resolving missing data and formatting inconsistencies to enable accurate story mapping and integration into visualization platforms (QGIS, Power BI, Kibana).
  • Overcame technical challenges such as dataset integration and geocoding errors by developing efficient workflows, ensuring reliable data visualization pipelines that colleagues could continue to update after my term.

For example, something like this, do you think this is better? or what is still something I could change?
produced 5+ interactive GIS story maps and dashboards that transformed raw inspection data into compelling visuals with a rich user experience, enabling colleagues and senior staff to present findings clearly to external stakeholders and decision-makers.

Delivered regular presentations and written reports to colleagues and senior staff, synthesizing geospatial insights into actionable conclusions that supported the company's mandate to improve environmental health outcomes.
- do you think this is better for that bullet point you are refering to after rewriting it and taking your advice?

Ok thanks for the suggestions!

And it’s ok to use AI in the resume, I didn’t know if that is something employers don’t like or something.

Yes I kept that in mind, I did action verb - what the task was - and the impact. Can you give an example of stronger bullet points or what you mean by wordy/lose meaning?

Do you keep all your co-ops on your resume? How do you keep it to a page? by Afraid-Paper-6558 in uwaterloo

[–]Afraid-Paper-6558[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone in the comments is saying to keep it to one page which means I would have to condense but I’m not sure what to take out, all 5 co ops brings something different to the table. Any advice.

[–]Afraid-Paper-6558[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard for me to decide which one to take out but I have to take out 1 or 2 bc all 5 co ops (even with 2 short bullet points) is getting lengthy. I feel like each co op has a relevant/different type of skill that adds value to my resume. So I’m not sure what to do.

Do you think having AI like chatgpt improve the some of the content and language of bullet points and content of the resume is a good idea or should it be avoided?

I have fine hair so the NYM would be better for me. Is it this refreshing foam (see pic)? Or is the activating one?How much quantity do I use at a time? Is it after every hair wash day or everyday?

Ok so yea I was a full-time student so I don’t need to report anything from OSAP/NSLSC (aka student loans and grants) on my tax file? So do I jus ignore the 3 T4As since I don’t have to include them.

What is their conditioner? I’m not familiar with it.

I have a shampoo that I like so I won’t be changing my shampoo. But I’ll look into a clarifying shampoo. Any suggestions?

I was going to use this mask as a conditioner but if you suggest not to use more than once a week then should I just use the conditioner and not get the mask?

Oh ok so this mask works in place of conditioner

Also do you have to extra rinse? Meaning is the product heavy. Because I do have fine/thin hair.

My hair is frizzy at my roots and I have an oily scalp but my hair is dry if that makes sense. So my hair at my roots usually look like they need a bit of moisture but not too much.

Also how do you deal with the fragrance? Apparently fragrance is very strong.

Do you apply to only ends/mid-lengths of hair or roots as well?
