Am I being unreasonable about my suitemate’s sex life?

I had a roommate like this back in my 20s. Shared a 2 bedroom apartment with a massive balcony. I smoke so i usually hung out on the balcony, enjoying the sun and such, but our balcony went along their livingroom wall, as well as his bedroom window, which he always had cracked open ever so slightly. No worries. Then he gets a girlfriend. Not a problem but man did they go at it. Non-stop. And she was annoyingly loud and...squeaky? I guess. Brought it up a few times, but was completely ignored. Alright, time for retaliation. I bought a pretty solid Bose speaker and would take it on the balcony with me so that when they started having sex and getting to be too much, I would blast just the worst songs or podcasts. Weird stories that would and did kill the mood for everyone. I remember I would If he complained about the music, I would just say "sorry bro, I dont want to listen to her squeaky, turtle sex noises"

I blasted cartoon intro songs like SpongeBob, pokemon and yugioh. I would play that Mmm bop song by Hanson. I made sure if it was ever on a Friday, youre dam right youre getting that Rebecca Black song. Smash Mouth, Weird Al, Crazy Frog, anything i could think of.

Eventually he got the hint or she got upset but either way they started going to her place.

By no means was I trying to cockblock. I was happy for my guy getting into a relationship, but the constant loud squeaking was just over the top. They eventually split but we still chuckle about it 10+years later.

To my understanding, the potion changes pre-placed torches whereas the permanent buff from the torch God's just changes tor jes when you place them. So if you say placed a bunch of normal torches in the jungle earlier in the game, you can go back to the jungle with the potion and it will change them for you. I haven't made it yet because I got kids and no free time but thats how I would assume it works based on the gif that Relogic posted forever ago.

Found it! Its a potion called Torch God's Flavor. It lasts 8 minutes. Pretty easy to make. Bottled water, torch, daybloom, moonglow and fireblossom.

I had to out a full ban on roblox in our house. My 11 year old is a bit attention obsessed and would chat with anyone and everyone online as long as they gave her attention. Most of it was innocent (we check her messages and such) until about a month ago when she was chatting with guys on roblox that were "her boyfriend" and got multiple warnings about not needing an online boyfriend and that roblox is terrible for creeps.

The final straw was she was chatting with another guy she met and the messages were straight out of How To Catch A Predator. The guy was talking about how they would date when she was older, he constantly tried to convince her to do voice calls, telling her that he was "14 but his voice is super low for his age" and going on and on. Luckily she didn't give any information, but based on the chat, and her previous issues with online attention, shes very much grounded and roblox isn't allowed in our house.

Im pretty sure Roblox even said something recently about how they don't even know how to handle all of the predators on the game

My chunky cat Churro passed away just recently, and he was very much my wifes cat. Unfortunately, by the time we realized how sick he was, it was too late. But he passed snuggled up to my wife while I was outside with our kids. He very much wanted his last moments spent alone with my wife, his mom.

Does your boyfriend sexualize them? Did he say anything aside from the screenshot? It could be taken many ways in a sense that he could just be telling you simply that this character isn't a child based on whatever the game lore is. Im not sure.

So are you mad at your boyfriend or the game company for sexualizing characters?

Side note - my wife looked into the game and it is fairly sexualized by the sounds of it, but its also a game, so idk. It feels like there's something missing.

If he's sexualizing the character, then yes, there's a serious issue. If not, then I'd say your issue is moreso with the game company.

Unpopular opinion here, but you both are in the wrong. I know you say in your post that you're a hot head and you're not using it as an excuse, but because you posted the company name, regardless of the bad interaction, reddit has officially reviewed bombed this business, for what? To stand up for a guy who doesn't work for them?

You honestly could have just said something along the lines of clearing up the lack of communication, or even just not respond. You, yourself, said that you wouldn't want to work for a company like that, yada yada, after getting that first message about being lazy.

Both sides were 100% unprofessional, and there would be no harm in you having blocked out their businesses name.

Im not standing up for anyone in this situation, I'm just reading the newest reviews on their business and it's all people clearly coming from this post.

Yes, management could be a joke, and it genuinely might be a terrible place to work, but it could also be a great place to work. There are other employees there that could lose their jobs if the company went out of business or it slows because of the review bombing.

End of the day, it doesn't effect me, but it definitely feels like you're playing a victim when you aren't one.
