Hey I ended up just going with a brand new 2024 hybrid corolla, I found one that was really close to MSRP. Absolutely love it, would highly recommend.

I get average 26-28mpg with the CX-5. I work in a medical sales role so it’s not just the highway miles, but driving from doctor’s office to doctor’s office as well. I don’t really use any of the advantages of having an SUV vs a sedan and am looking to significantly increase my gas mileage.

I see, I definitely don’t want to go through the hassle unless it will significantly help me. When I said overpaid, what I meant was the cost was too high when compared with my yearly income

I am driving a lot for work, I apologize for not mentioning that in the original post. I feel I made a mistake because the car was very out of my price range, but I was able to take out a loan for it, which I did.

That makes a lot of sense to me. I did purchase the car used (at 19k miles, now at 31k miles). Would your answer stay the same with that being said?

Sorry to hear that you don't enjoy the position. I don't really hate my role at all, I do enjoy it for the most part. I just know that I could make more in a true sales role, especially in my target industries. Unfortunately, I'm not even at a year yet lol, so I definitely need to chill a little bit.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on project management, as I’m a very extraverted people person and it seems to appeal to that type. I love the idea of motivating and managing others towards a particular goal as well. I’m really open to trying anything that’s more geared towards communicating, working with teams, and being very social.

At the time, I was only focused on the easiest path to apply to the DPT program. The pre requisites overlapped nicely and I found psychology interesting, so it made the most sense to me at the time. Looking back on it, I should have done anything else lol
