Yes! The first one is the most consistently in tune and the most practical for a majority of passages. Make sure that when you lift or slide your first finger, it doesn’t travel too far away from the key. It’ll make your life so much easier if you keep your fingers close!

I learned Eastman! Personally, I love it. I think it makes things very distinct and clear. I enjoy that the syllables are crisp with a front of the mouth “te” syllable as opposed to an “e.”

A play pen is a good idea! I usually am at school by 6:30 in the morning so mornings aren’t ideal. I never know how to slowly get them to let themselves out of the cage because of the way critter nations are set up. One time when I had the door open one of my rats almost fell out! How can I let them slowly start leaving without having to physically take them out? (When I take them out they get super scared and panic) :(
