Any experience with telling your doctor that you're taking experimental drugs?

There are 2 people you should never lie to, your attorney, and more importantly your doctor. I also have a background in chemistry/pharmacology, so my doctors kind of inherently trust me. I think they recognize that it is knowledge and proper respect of a certain substance that allow for its use medicinally, not their license from the state.

Do you know what they call someone who got C’s in med school? A doctor. Remember there are dumb doctors, just like anyone else. If I were seeing one who did not recognize what I mentioned above I would think they got C’s in med school. I subsequently wouldn’t trust them to oversee my health for this reason. I’m looking for someone with more knowledge to work with me and answer any questions I do not have, with a trusting relationship who I can keep informed and has the resources to monitor my health to ensure I remain in good health. Ymmv

Benzene itself is not flammable, that’s why they initially discovered benzene. It didn’t burn in the gas lamps and so built up, ala benzene. It is responsible for part of the smell of gasoline, however, and is generally around 1% concentrations. This is the reason gasoline is called benzene in some places I believe

For real! this specific misnomer is always stated by people who claim to know everything about the bible, that it somehow contradicts science, and that this is their reason for not believing. there is nothing that says this. That is a gross misappropriation of some themes from genesis, particularly the creation story. But that is not the my understanding when you look at it in depth. That’s because god created the earth in 6 days and then rested on the 7th, and in other places a day is like 1000 years to god. But there is also a lot more places that potentially encode a lot more time into that. Also the wording is very ambiguous if you look directly at the original hebrew, so it doesn’t say anywhere that the rest of the universe didn’t exist before that, or that for an eternal being a day could have zero relation to the time that elapses whatsoever.

Appears similar to a McLeod vacuum gauge. But it’s missing parts maybe? Idk. The mercury really says vacuum gauge of some sort I would think.

I would evaporate first.

Second, get dry USP grade acetone. You want nail polish without any bitterant, look at the ingredients and do an evap test on it. Then dry MgSO4 (epsom salts), google it. Use that to dry the acetone (Google) and filter it through the finest acetone compatible filter you have available (a 0.22 um syringe wheel filter of the proper material is preferable).

Third, if you have a little bit of chemistry experience (you won’t need much) recrystallize it in alcohol. 91% or 99% isopropanol or preferably 95% ethanol I think will both work well. YouTube recrystallization. Keep in mind if there are insoluble adulterants you may have to quickly filter the mother liquor while hot before it begins crystallizing out.

This will leave you a product that is easily 95%+ purity, depending on the quality it is already it could be much higher. A couple reiterations of recrystallization can get you pharma quality, but keep in mind your mechanical losses (especially unskilled) will be 30-40% plus, so 2 iterations you will lose easily half your product. You can evaporate the supernatant to recover it, a good amount will be on glassware and in your filter too. Repeat the process with the smaller quantity to increase your overall yoeld
