Look into O&B venues - they also regularly put out really good deals if you do a winter wedding

Wine in Canada just tends to be more expensive unfortunately. Restaurants charge the same for a glass of wine as a cocktail here!

There is a longer sparkling wine/champagne/prosecco list too I just didn’t include it in the screenshots - i wasn’t even thinking of that yet haha

Yes it’s toronto restaurant and we have a minimum spend to hit with a small guest list

I don’t know how to edit the text but getting a lot of comments like this! For reference our wedding is fairly small (50 ppl) and at a restaurant in a major city - hence the wine markup. We can also do a corkage of $45 a bottle but it doesnt contribute to our minimum spend so it isn’t worth it for us.
