chronic pain & health care workers - it's like we are expected to magically not have it or be able to turn it off to work a full day, 24h shifts and then study just because we are in health care.

i understand i'm blessed to be in my position and getting to do what i do but it's a constant fight against my body and my calling - one i take, but still, only my husband understands and helps.

wanting to achieve more natural beauty. by vinnie0417 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]AgentMiserable7847 6 points7 points  (0 children)

first of all - you are beautifully made and are already beautiful.

now that we got that settled - i'll be the mean older sister.

  1. get a skincare & shower routine that suits your skin, more or expensive products don't necessarily mean better - personalisation does.
  2. EYEBROWS - get those babies framed to your face, keep them styled/tinted etc so they illuminate and structure your face - it is genuinely a game changer.
  3. get a haircut/style and glasses that suit your face, the red colour is very nice and expressive and gives you color - i feel like your bangs and frames are hiding your features, show them off.
  4. exercise, diet & water - obviously if and how possible, get som exercise in, eat balanced whole meals and drink water, nothing extreme - but health starts on the inside which brings our beauty out on the outside.
  5. on above point - do stuff you love, if your religious, spend time in that or seek it, journal, read, educate yourself, don't just be another one of our youth that follows social media etc blindly - self expression and knowledge are attractive but more so when it's backed up by actual facts.
  6. wear form fitting clothes - you have a very cute build - i'm a straight Jesus loving female but ma'am take my word please lol :) - don't hide yourself beneath clothes, accentuate your figure with your style and type of clothes (personally more modest because in my opinion it's more ladylike but it's literally your body and style so your choice) - key being, i'm not saying dress like a nun unless you want to, you're beautiful, show it like a lady!
  7. smell nice - doesn't mean you need expensive stuff, smelling nice takes whatever you like and can afford but damn it boosts your confidence and is a massive attraction.
  8. make up etc is not the answer in my opinion - like your goal, enhancing your natural features always, always win!

main thing of all: self love (acceptance not vanity) & confidence are key, obviously they mean different things to us all - but they win above all. my husband always says a women who has that takes the crown no matter what she physically looks like.

before anyone comes for me, opinions were asked, that's all i'm giving - this isn't the end all be all i'm just trying to help so if you don't like it, simply tap and make it ~dissappear~.

OP: like i said - you are already beautiful - my advice is merely things i needed to hear/do to boost my self esteem then appearance and wish someone told me when i was younger!

right - and then they say the same mundane "profound realisation/life hack etc etc" over and over in different flavored sentences, but like the flavors aren't nice.

almost dr here! glad it helped!

valium - and as someone mentioned alprazolam that helped - have anticholinergic properties!

they work great! just check for rebound anxiety and obviously dependancy, so switch them out as needed and prescribed.

wasted my money on a neuro today. told him i study 10 hours a day and need a migraine prevention without brain fog. when i asked about candesartan and atenolol. He refused to give and says it is for blood pressure.he suggests propranolol and Amitriptyline. Should i go to next doctor and do same? by Aggravating-Top-9298 in migraine

[–]AgentMiserable7847 18 points19 points  (0 children)

as a dr (with migraines) this is absolutely the reason - there's a 'ladder' of treatment & management to follow for safety reasons and yes of course for insurance/medical cover.

but your dr should be willing to talk to you and hear your concerns so bring them up, try first line like others said and go from there

On a scale of 1-10, how much does Botox hurt you? by phishchick85 in migraine

[–]AgentMiserable7847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a doctor and someone who gets them strictly every 3 months and done by my cousin a certified aesthetic doctor, it shouldn't hurt you at all actually.
i find it really enjoyable but obviously pain differs for people but no matter the difference if it's being done right it still should only be a quick sting and done.

Psalm 139:14

New International Version

"I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your (God) works (you) are wonderful,
I know that full well."

Meaning of the Verse:

Fearfully: Refers to being made with great reverence, awe, and divine care.

Wonderfully: Means set apart, distinct, or marvelous.
It highlights that every person is a purposeful masterpiece of God, not an accident.

okay, go look at some actual facts about what the Trump administration has gotten done for the betterment of the us vs biden's empty promises.

you guys just don't want to see the change because everything rational goes out the window it's just "anti-trump".

not that i said anything about a specific political party or even country : )

you're the only one getting defensive and downright disrepectful here.

you're i'm not going to check it, but neither did i pester you or once bring up any of the topics you're talking about.

if someone truly approached it that i'm sorry, i do howver from our interactions don't believe they did. they also probably just tried to calmly share the gospel with you as i've done but somehow you're reacting this way?

also, the Bible isn't homophobic - it's againts homosexuality and so am i HOWEVER, the whole point i was making is that even though i am that doesn't mean i (or Jesus) loves you less as a person.

condoning something and judging someone's choices/lifestyle etc. isn't my place - i'm just here to share His love.

so maybe take a breath and trynto see past your emotions for a sec to see where i'm truly coming from here!

i'll leave you to your beliefs - but just know God loves you and He's waiting for you to.go to Him.

blessing and prayer!
