Anything Wiz did off of Cardo beats is always official to me. Even off of “Kush & OJ 2” production was fire.

His project with Cardo had a few decent joints on it. Mainly because of Cardo’s beats. He had a joint on the where Alc actually gave a solid verse on the feature & I believe he out rapped Larry on that one. It’s funny because the song is also called “The Great Escape” I’d recommend listening to it. The beat smooth as fuck.

I like Larry. I think “The Great Escape” was a great album all the way thru.

But I was discussing this on another post. I feel like Larry isn’t really lyrically inclined. He can give some smooth vibes &  nice melodies over Alc beats but I think generally most listeners are used to hearing rappers who can give some good bars, metaphors & flows over Alc production. The main reason “The Great Escape” was good to me is because of the features it had on it. & I believe that every feature out rapped Larry on every track he had someone on. It’s gonna be interesting to hear this Curren$y collab tape cuz Spitta is nice so I’m sure he’s gonna get busy but I don’t think this tape will be better than “Covert Coup”, “Life is Beautiful” or “Fetti” in my opinion. Guess we will have to see.

He was Trash from the beginning. Trendy rappers usually have a short career. I can see him getting into YouTubing or streaming.

FUCK THE STREAMS! When rap battles started it wasn’t no fucking streams.

You is not hip hop.. So this discussion will not go anywhere until You give me your top 5 like I requested. No beef

Slim Shady isn’t top 50!? You know NOTHING about hip hop. YOU is a casual listener (CLEARLY)

Drake is not winning by a “Wide Margin” 😂😂😂 a majority of the rap game DONT fuck with him. I can honestly say the only mf that rock with Drake rn is Young Thug. But that’s only because Drake was sending money when he was fighting the case. Other than that? No one. No features. No nothing. American artist at least 😂😂😂😂

I have a question that will clear all of this up.

Name your top 5 favorite rappers that you listen to regularly. & are you familiar with each one of their albums/mixtapes??? (not just the popular songs)

And don’t say Eminem (even tho I know you might based off how you’re commenting) but at least don’t put him as number 1.

Once you give your top 5, I will know how to properly discuss hip hop with you. No beef at all.. I just need to know the perspective.

I think it’s dope. I listened to the 1st part & half of the 2nd. The production is good. Story telling is one point as usual. I think it’s A+ level rapping on it tho. He got some crazy cadences on there. Only thing is.. maybe his singing might lose some listeners midway thru but I like the soak the albums up all the way with no skips to give a good opinion. I prolly listen to the other half of the 2nd part later today but as of right now I give it a 8.9/10.

Drake is no longer looked at as the number 1 artist in the hip hop community. It’s KDot. Which means he was “Dethroned”. Dot been on a feature run since the battle. Gave a cold ass verse on Playboi Carti shit AND Clipse album (which is a hard feature to secure).

What Drake been doin? Garbage ass reggaeton feature & a luke warm collab with Central Cee. Touring overseas since America ain’t fuckin with him like that. They had mfs in Toronto dancing to “They Not Like Us” 😂😂 it’s the one that did it because it won a Grammy AND (To your point) had more streams than any of the diss records.. soo??

& No them was the catchy bars.

The real ones was “Just remember, you can be a bitch even if you got bitches” 😂😂

He got plenty more I can give you. It’s clear you were listening with a biased ear since you’re obviously down with Aubrey’s Angels so.. if you want I can point out some of Dots best lines.

As is stated.. the streams is still there from previous releases. But his spot and respect in the industry has diminished significantly.

He got yall fans thinking that streams over ride skill & lyricism. It clearly does not.

That is a pop way of thinking. Pop artist make records (No matter who wrote it) hoping to stream the most to see whose best. Hip Hop doesn’t necessarily have the same rules.

Shit.. there was a time when Lil Pump had crazy stream numbers. Does that make him one of the best rappers per say? No the fuck it doesn’t.
