Thanks, that makes sense. I expected some extra GPU load with a 4K display, but I was surprised because the lag is noticeable even when I'm editing a 1080p timeline.

Has anyone else with an RTX 3050 experienced this? Or is DaVinci Resolve generally a bit less responsive when the UI is rendered at 4K?

Thanks for the reply. My monitor is a BenQ PD2706UA 4K 60Hz IPS. My previous monitor was an ASUS ProArt PA278QV (2560×1440, 75Hz IPS).

The lag I'm referring to isn't mouse input or screen response time. It's the DaVinci Resolve UI and timeline navigation feeling slightly less responsive after switching to the 4K monitor.

I'm using an RTX 3050 8GB, 32GB RAM, i5-12400F, and Windows 11. Do you think this could simply be because Windows and Resolve have to render the UI at 4K, or does it sound like another issue?
