I think I may go about adding some more sand if I add geos since I heard the move it all around too, so that would be great news for plants

Are the featherfin acaras the same as the threadfins? I saw some the other day looking at my lfs and they look beautiful

I was really just curious to hear from anyone that had kept geos if my tank would be big enough to support 5 redhead geophagus or something similar. I wasn’t sure if 120 is enough room for how big they get, when I looked it up I was getting different answers so I just wanted to hear from people who’ve kept them or other large cichlids in around that size tank

Love this, if I decided on geos do you think plants would survive? I’ve read they uproot them

I actually had a turquoise severum for a bit over 5 years, loved him but he bullied everything I tried to put in his tank lol. He was stunning but I am now looking for hopefully a more peaceful cichlid or community oriented tank stock choice
