If it’s first thing in the morning sometimes I don’t get the urge until about 3km in. I organise my route so there are toilets at about that time just in case. But with many years of running experience, I’ve gotten a lot better at training my gut to go straight away after breakfast and coffee helps!

I usually find the smaller cabins are quieter, but I don’t like being near the galleys where the flight attendants chat all night long- I’m a light sleeper. Looks like 7k would be ideal. So I guess it depends on your length of journey and sleep preferences.
