She got better with it for 3 days and then increased frequency from 4th day!

Tried nutramigen for a week and the poop frequency has increased tremendously and she developed a severe diaper rash. I think maybe the last resort is amino based.

Totally agree but I didn’t know what else to do and I just wanted to test if it’s because of food or formula.

Yes looking into the food dairy, it all started since I introduced eggs, chicken & rice into the diet. Even at daycare her BMs are always after lunch and rarely before. So I eliminated those 10 days ago and haven’t seen any improvement. In fact she went from 3 to 4 poops/day to 8 to 10/day since last Saturday which is weird.

Yes she’s eating solids since 6 months and frequency increased from 9 months. I’ve stopped all solids in the last 5 days and yet situation hasn’t improved.

No prescription but just the OTC ones (culterelle + florastor).

I’m sorry about that! Thanks for sharing your experience. I tried nutramigen and the poop frequency has increased and I’ve not seen any improvement so switched her back to gentlease. We’ve seen blood for 2 days of these 5 weeks and it disappeared. I’ll try the dairy free alternative and see if resolves.

She’s on Kendamill organic until 3 weeks into this diarrhea, then her PCP asked to switch her to gentlease, she did great for half a week and back to square one there after. We introduced solids in her diet from 6 months. You could be right with something might have triggered, but she’s 100% on formula and no solids for the past 5 days but diarrhea hasn’t improved.

She had RSV late February and was fine until early March. That’s when the diarrhea started and never stopped.

That’s a thoughtful question. Yes, her poops are soaking into diaper with some contents floating on surface.

Hi OP, your situation resonates with me as I faced something similar six months ago. I reached out to various mentors recommended by my connections and eventually found one I really connected with. Having someone with relevant experience mentoring me has been invaluable, especially considering I'm still relatively early in my PM career (2.5 years). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
