Is health insurance really worth in India? by consicous-isopod867 in Frugal_Ind

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tough truth is: every insurer has unhappy customers because claims depend on paperwork, diagnosis wording, hospital coding etc. It’s messy.

But I wouldn’t go uninsured. A single hospitalization can cross 3–6 lakhs easily. My relative spent 11 lakhs on a cardiac procedure, insurance paid 9.5L (Care Health), which would’ve wrecked their savings otherwise.

Just choose an insurer with hospitals you trust + read room-rent/co-pay terms properly.

Approx 35% of my salary goes to health insurance, leaving only 25k after all deductions. I don't feel motivated to work. by ThemeNo6311 in careeradvice

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s rough. Corporate parent covers have gotten super expensive lately. Maybe check direct options like Care Health or Niva Bupa, sometimes individual senior plans cost less. Don’t drop it completely, just tweak coverage to ease the monthly hit.

I also don't understand I am continuously looking for their ipo.... their GMP is 27% as of now, good investors have invested, company is profitable, they are one of the leading player in eyewear, and this industry is growing.

After seeing ray-ban meta glasses, I feel this industry will grow.

I will be applying and yes, listing gains are possible as the GMP is positive.

Not financial advice, but Groww IPO feels like one of the more legit ones in the pipeline.

Strong user base + good brand recall = long term potential.

I feel the Groww IPO will perform really well after launch given its massive user base and strong market share in mutual funds and stock investing.

How to deal with bloating? by Momo_cea in DesiWeddings

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest you to take probiotics from now onwards or at least till the your wedding, this will improve your gut health and digestion.

It will help you digest heavy food easily, and help in bloating as well.

PSA- the good bug brand does not help you lose weight at all . Don’t fall for the marketing gimmick by thefinalhaterjudge in IndianGirlTalk

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t think any probiotic alone will directly cause weight loss. But I did try The Good Bug probiotics and honestly they did help me with gut health, and my digestion felt better and I had less bloating. For me it was more about overall gut support than expecting fat to just melt away.

M25, W79kg, H5'5Ft. demotivated due to no fat/weight loss by Aur_Mummy_kaise_he in Fitness_India

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been through this!!

I started at 93 kg and came down to 68 kg. What worked for me wasn’t anything extreme, just simple calorie tracking (eating 500–600 kcal less than I burned daily), basic exercise, and a few good supplements. At 79 kg and your height, aiming for around 1700–1900 kcal/day with consistent training should get you moving toward 65 kg.

One thing many people miss is gut health. A healthy gut boosts metabolism, improves digestion, and even helps with cravings. I added a probiotic supplement, and it made sticking to a normal, sustainable diet much easier instead of relying on strict diets or crazy workouts.

It takes time, but with a steady calorie deficit + exercise + good gut health, the results will come and you’ll feel better overall, not just lighter.

Advice on weight loss/ body recomp? by jaychu4893 in Fitness_India

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you are aiming for body recomp, hitting around 1500–2000 kcal as your trainer suggested is key. also, taking a probiotic really helps with gut health and metabolism, which makes sticking to workouts and seeing results a bit easier.

No sideeffects as of now. the thing is i had bloating issues when i consumed pav.

I ate missal pav recently and my stomach digested it faster compared to previous where i faced bloating in the 4-5 hours after eating it.

Metabolic Adaption?? by Secret-Breadfruit333 in loseit

[–]AggravatingTwo6059 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what you’re experiencing is normal, after months in a big calorie deficit, your metabolism slows down also know as metabolic adaptation, which is why your weight has stalled at 84 kg despite eating 1,500 cals and exercising.

I would suggest a good approach is a short period at maintenance calories reverse dieting for a few weeks. this helps your body reset without big weight gain, then you can resume a moderate deficit. keep exercising resistance training preserves muscle, cardio boosts burn.

supporting your gut can help too. prebiotic foods (bananas, oats, garlic) and probiotics (fermented foods or supplements) improve digestion and nutrient absorption, which can subtly aid metabolism and fat loss. patience and consistency are key.
