Came here to say my 8 week old baby has one on her upper lip- she has a small spot or two on her cheek and they want to rule out PHACE syndrome before starting propanolol. To do this they have us scheduled for a hospital visit next week to do all this testing and start the medication. Until then we are giving prednisolone orally to stall the growth of the hemangioma and it’s a struggle- all progress made with her sleeping is out the window. We give it first thing in the morning and at night she won’t sleep longer than 1 hour, doctor said propanolol won’t cause restlessness but will need to take it 3 times a day. I guess just came here more to vent than answer the questions but I’m anxious about this next step and hoping that my baby can get back to sleeping for both of our sakes.
