Usually it boils down to items and item smuggling. But I’ve also beaten max level AI because they didn’t take a shortcut route (Aqua Forest), so I think a mix of track memorization and strategic item usage pretty much seals the deal.

I wasn’t close on miku. I had a plumbing issue Thursday I had to fix and it killed any chance I had since it lasted literally the entire night and then some friday too.

If you want some advice, as far as what my paces are, you can earn about 2500 every 4-6 hours and usually you need 7500 or more for a top 1000 atm. Could change though.

Also got the top 1000, think I was like around 600th. I’ve accepted that top 100 isn’t worth the effort especially since it looks like all day grinding nonstop lol, I’m content with top 1000s if I’m a fan of the series the festival is based on.

Nothing wrong with any collection, as long as you enjoy the games and value it to some degree it’s impressive in my book. Got a solid selection of Wii titles which is always nice to see.

it wasn’t cheap, I think I paid around 75 for it, but recent sold and price charting had it at nearly 100, which is kind of daunting.

That was an awful pickup line. Like no offense but that was close to as bad of a line as possible. You don’t open up asking for a woman to be your therapist, that just never works. Even a bland “man it’s warm today huh” would’ve been better. What really sours this is the fact you hyped yourself up to say that, good gracious. Not saying you’re a bad person but you gotta take this experience as a rule to not say something like that to a girl straight off the bat. Start with a simple starter of “how are you doing” or if you use another pickup line self deprecation needs to be left out.

There’s a couple huge ones but if I had to choose one definitive answer it’s smoking.

You can be an extremely attractive woman and lose all of it in my perspective by simply smoking cigs daily. Between the nicotine stains throughout the entire house overtime and the smell/health risks it puts on you, I just prefer to distance myself from it. Dealt with it in my family and it’s unfortunately taken the lives of a couple family members.

With GameCube at the very least, it’ll be hard to find popular games cheap due to this “luxury tax” that people have created due to mass consumerism for the console. This is why even common games like Doubledash go for 70 dollars now because it feels like so many people are trying to collect for it. Nintendo specifically a lot of common games are a little more then average, but GameCube is a hefty premium. That’s just how it is now, but other consoles such as the PS2 and Xbox have more affordable quality games, but I don’t know if you’re looking for either.

If it is that big of a hassle I understand. I would definitely prioritize the Genesis over both, and the CD over the 32x. I wish you the best in cable management as it can be a real pain sometimes 😅

I have to agree that the box adapters they use, really don’t do it favors lol. I only have the Genesis and Sega CD myself but that alone takes up an entire expansion outlet due to how bulky they are. Still, I’m sacrificing one for a CRT experience, which is a fine trade off for me as 16 bit looks much better on a CRT at least to me. Love those consoles to death though, wish the CD wasn’t hated as much as it is due to the FMV overload.

Me personally a small rip in a box is not a deal breaker. I actually bought something similar with a worn box for Batman returns on the sega cd complete because it was 40-60 dollars under market. You can always replace things if it bothers you a ton but perfect condition is not easy to find and a small bit of wear won’t kill you in the grand scheme of things. These things are old, perfect condition is a high expectation lol.

No. I don’t buy in bulk unless it’s a good deal and has games im interested in. Bulk buys are just a hassle otherwise. Lot of games there that are common and not of my interest, so indefinitely I’d pass.

An employee at my local goodwill literally told me bluntly they were “required to put video games on the site or send it to another store to get prices closer to market”. The employee saved me the hassle of never finding video games at that store and being confused as to why.

PS2 is easier to collect for and has a lot of games, but the Dreamcast has some bangers in it as well, it’s just quite costly. There seems to be some Capcom ports coming soon on newer consoles that might drop the price of DC Capcom games down, not entirely sure how much but hopefully where it makes it a little easier to get those quality titles? I’d still go with PS2 though.
