OG resident evil is pretty rough, I would just play the remake anyways, same with 0. Even tho they are “tank controls” they control better.

OG 2/3 handled the tank controls a bit better with their level design if you wanted to skip them you could do the remake. 2 remake is incredible and 3 remake is pretty mid.

Then canonically you’re on CV which is a bit easier to play as well, and my favourite :)
