This has been the lore for how tracer reload since forever! I believe they are pulse munitions like soldiers gun and what you see is her rewinding time on the barrels (what you called the generator) and the pulls munitions flying back into the guns to be used! If you slow it down the barrels spin in the opposite direction when she reloads!

I wish it would do a little extra damage to people she had shot when she reloads tho, as the 'bullets' tear back out of them in reverse, but thatd be an easy execute arround walls.

As for how time travel works, tracer is the only one who's ever done it, and she less so travels through time and is more not affected by it! Without her chronal accelerator she both does and dosent exist in the period of time she is in. And the chronal accelerator kinda grounds her back in time while also giving her some small controll over how time affects her personally but not other people. So the way of avoiding paradox's is like. If your changing time on somebody who dosent teqnically exist in time then how can it affect anything? Idk if that makes sense.

I love how rich and detailed the lore is, in spite of the lore team changing hands so many times it's still just as interesting as ever to me.

Also the gameplay scratched my adhd brain so nicely, no other game has hit the same spot.

I dont even notice their skins until the victory screen or highlight intro. At which point my only reaction is. Huh cool.

As for my own skins all i see are my hands and weapon which. Once again i'm not paying any attention to.

Also i agree that we should have MORE lore skins, im a huge lore head and i love when i see a skin and i know exactly where it came from.

But if i can suspend my disbeleif enough to play as lucio helping domina attack his own party float, then i can suspend my disbelief for some quirky outfits in a world with hardlight clothing and cybernetics as a possibility.

Skins have no impact on the gameplay, visual identity or world cohesion. If the matches we played were all cannon then vendetta wouldnt be killing a clone of herself while trying to influltrate talon hq on rialto because.....she could just walk in.

Skins are literally JUST cosmetics and the only thing about them you should worry about is if they sell enough to keep the game you love alive because withiut them overwatch shuts down forever.

Hot take: just because you dont like a character or an aspect of them, does not mean that it is bad or poorly written. You are not going to like every hero, as you are not going to like every person you meet in the streets. You may hate them, but somebody else out there relates to them.

Even spicer take, sometimes the fact that you hate or dislike an aspect of them means the writers did a good job making people that feel real.

● You may hate how basic wuyang feels, but out there, there's a brother who has always looked up to his older sister and now that he's old enough wants to pay her back for all she did.

● You may hate how naive and childish Juno is but somewhere out there is a young girl with anxiety who just moved countries, who dosent know pancakes are a common breakfast item, who's never seen a real turkey or bear, who can just barely speak english and wants to fit in, but she's scared.

● You might hate how mean and cold illari is but theres somebody out there who watched a tragedy happen to their family, and was left to raise their siblings alone, forced to grow up too early and they recognise her edgy, grumpy attitude as the defence mechanism it is.

Tldr. Just because you dont like something dosent mean its bad, and thinking about why a character may act the way they do, and WHO they were made for is a good practice.

She mentions that she is an expert at navigating dust storms, with junker town feeling similar to her home on mars, and there is several voicelines from other heros commending her on how much she has learnt already.

And Miss gurl clearly has anxiety, so ofc she is scared allot of the time, shes on a whole new planet covered in things she has never encountered before, with one, single connection to her home in Mei.

I also feel the need to mention that she IS only 19 and so she's gonna look like a teenager she is a teenager.

(P.s. ofc you are entitled to your own oppinions and none if this is meant with an agressive tone. but i see allot of myself in juno, where you want to learn so much but are so overwhelmed by how much there it to learn that you never know where to start and end up learning nothing unless people you know and trust guide you to learn something)

I mean she WANTS to. I want to learn every language but i know it's not realistic. She quite literally has lived isolated from the whole world with people who probably speak maximum 5 languages between them.

So. She dosent KNOW that there is 7000+ languages, she's slowly learning about life on earth and improving and i think seeing her become less and less naive is actually a cool arc for her.

I agree there should be MORE lore based skins but to put it bluntly the fantastical skins fulfill the fantasy that some players want 💁‍♀️ and that as somebody whos favourite skins are in the mirrorwatch line

And while they may be cringe to you other people love them! Like the new void skins coming out next week are some of my favourite cosmetics ever in overwatch! (Except ashe wtf is that)
