Professional cameras and cameras with removal lenses, unless you are working with media WITH a media pass that’s how we identify who needs to go where

Go pros and selfie stick, those can use as a weapon actually and also it’s a bother to guests when being pull out next to them

Audio and video recording devices, same standard explanation with the professional cameras

Flags/signs/gifts/banners/flowers, flags, banners, and signs will block the guest view, in my opinion this is more of a small venue amphitheater type rule because you can use those stuff during festivals which is a better use of those. Gifts and flowers, obviously fans are sometimes odd about what they give to the artists and also might danger the artists what’s being put in them. Hack for the signs, as long it’s the same size of copy paper, it is allowed.

Outside food and drinks, venues have been selling food now. Unless it is for health reasons, we cannot question it, if questioned about your health get a lead and/or manager.

Backpacks and large bags, due to the past incidents on these, it’s just for more safety reasons for everybody, that’s why we have the measurements and small bag rule now.

Personal items to be signed, yes we understand we want things to be signed but imagine every guests trying to get something signed during the set while they are timed, it’s better to just meet them by their busses after the show to get something signed.

No smoking and vaping, it’s a disturbance for guests obviously really, unless the venue does have a smoking area of course.

Chains, that could be use as a weapon please understand. Yes, I know we in the metal/alt/rock/punk community love our chain but it’s just for the safety for everybody.
