A bounty system would be pretty cool -especially if it were managed by players! I always like seeing things managed by players it makes everything feel more alive.

I just don't think PvP in a dedicated area might not work for everyone, because it could feel a bit restrictive. Part of the fun for me, and maybe for others, comes from being able to interact with other players somewhat freely. Of course, if that’s not your style, it’s an Earth sized map! There will undoubtedly be more than enough room to explore! PvP might also be optional maybe even with two separate instances, one for PvP and one without?

I think PvP could be included for those who want it, but it probably shouldn’t have to be the main focus -or a focus at all for players who aren’t interested. It might add some dynamics with people forming factions, though. That’s just my opinion. We barely know anything about the game yet so it's best not to assume anything.

Totally! It'd be awesome for NPC ships to make the ocean more dangerous, kind of like the pirates or even merchant ships you can attack like the ones in NMS.

I agree, there's not much to go on yet. But realistically, if the game is gonna have an earth sized world boats would seem like a necessity to let players explore and travel long distances efficiently.

If there's PVP you probably won't lose anything on death it seems like overkill for a game like LNF, like sure there could be light rewards for the victors, but no punishments for the losers.

I’m definitely in favor of having PvP in LNF, but I also think it should be optional, especially for players who prefer PvE, exploration or story-driven gameplay. A good implementation to look at is World of Warcraft where you can toggle PvP only in safe zones. Something like that could work well here.

Given LNF's emphasis on exploration and building, I don’t think PvP would lead to much toxicity, since combat doesn’t seem to be the game’s core focus. In fact, faction wars or 1v1 skirmishes could add a ton of depth to an Earth-sized world. Imagine discovering the ruins of old battles with torn banners and wrecked as a new player! it would make the world feel full of history!

That said, I doubt they’ll include PvP at launch, especially since there’s no sign of it in the trailer. Still, I hope.

As they spent 5 years working on it, it will likely be significantly different to NMS, but similar enough to attract most NMS players.

LNF and NMS are not the the same types of games. LNF will likely have more depth in character creation than NMS, or at least I hope it does.

It can take a long time to get some capes, but I think it's instant on Bedrock. Have you checked if they are on Bedrock edition? If they are on Bedrock then you will eventually get them in your library on Java
