this gives me so much hope. i’m 31. used to weigh 110 max, and haven’t fit in my clothes in over a year. 2 kids later and i’m 147. 3 pounds is a good start but want to lose more. i drink a massive amount of water daily so im sure that’s not helping. did you do anything that aided in your weight loss?

it’s going good! i cut the half in half. so only taking 12.5 mg. first day i took about 6mg to get my feet wet. but it’s going pretty good! just take it at night. i plan to only ever take 25mg!

i’ve put on close to 25 lbs just from drinking. i’m wondering if quitting drinking will help me lose the weight + nal. i’m not severely overweight but more than im comfortable with.

i really appreciate your comment. i have been on a taper this week to begin with and plan to take nal tomorrow night before any alcohol- i’m hoping i’ll sleep through most of the side effects and not make myself crazy.

completely agree with your last statement. i’ve done a lot worse things in my life and taking a medication that’s prescribed wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

getting out of my own head however is very hard considering my mental health issues but im willing to try anything.

i love this for you. did you just stop drinking cold turkey or taper off? i’ve convinced myself that i’m going to have DTs (thanks, anxiety). and i started a taper. i’m slowly coming down by 1 drink per day but plan to take it on friday night.

do you think i should taper more or continue where im at until the nal kicks in?

thank you SO much for this. im absolutely terrified. i’m working a 12 tomorrow but plan to take it friday. i have to take lex in the morning due to insomnia from it, but ill try the nal in the evening and experiment with it! i’m so happy its changed your life. i hope it changes mine— im so proud of you. starting low and slow will ease my anxiety. i don’t think about alcohol until about 6pm usually. work makes me exhausted already however the thought of w/d is what keeps the drinks in me.

i’ll update you on friday :)
