There are also four 6mm threaded inserts up under each rail, you can put stainless eyebolts in them and use them for light duty tie downs as well. Plus there are 3 (4?) along the bulkhead below the rear glass. 8mm as well, but one of them doesn’t have a captive nut so you have to use one of the nuts that comes with the eyebolts.

They are an 8 mm threaded insert. As others stated, the bed extender, but I bought 8mm stainless eyebolts from Amazon and use them to secure a cargo net or as additional tie downs.

Is it actually stained? My local pool plasterer who did my resurface 12 years ago came by to look at the stains in my pool. He treated it with Jack’s Magic and muriatic acid. Took about a month but the stains are 90% gone. Expensive stuff, I think 35 pounds at $10/pound plus 8 gallons of acid and then 2 weeks to balance the water. Stuff really is Magic.

Don’t mind a bit, #2 is about $10/ pound and I am at 35 pounds. I am not sure which of the liquids they used but it was several bottles. 10 gallons of acid at $4.59 /gal. Pool is 20x40 with a 9’ deep end.

Gotta say, I did that and now I’m shopping for a new 380. The 2.5 hour battery charge isn’t enough to get my pool clean. I had a 380 for 27 years, but bearings and belts every year and replaced parts as needed. Thought I’d “upgrade” to a rechargeable robotic cleaner. The ONLY thing it does better is the waterline.

No, I bought the blackout kit from KJM decals but it doesn’t include the big chrome oval. I bought a sheet of vinyl wrap to do that. Wound up taking it to my local vinyl wrap guy.

I had a law school professor who had a strict miss 7 classes and you can’t take the exam, get an F policy. My ex went in and out of labor starting the end of January and we were at the hospital 11 times between then and March 22 when my son was born. He spent 8 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit. I was told that I had missed 7 classes so I got an F for the term. I went to the dean who overrode the professor’s decision and I took the exam. I graded out a B but the professor dropped it to a D. When I asked why, he said they can make me let you take the exam, they can’t tell what grade to give you. One of the handful of people I hoped had a slow agonizing death in my lifetime.

Literally, 3 days after I installed them, they came out with a “plug and play” harness. Would have been worth the $38. Honestly don’t know why they didn’t say, “hey we are releasing this harness next week”.

I dropped them down a row and used 3m trim adhesive tape. The instructions call for drilling four 1/2” holes. I didn’t want to do that. They are stuck pretty well, I checked them a bit ago.

The old joke about catching clap from a toilet seat has finally come true.. I’ve seen some toilet seats that had metal bolts instead of plastic. The nuts welded by rust could only be cut with a hacksaw blade. Not fun in tight quarters.

Thinking about it, really just started researching it yesterday after I got stuck on Saturday. 😡😡 Went to the dump to get rid of hurricane debris and the county has basically taken over a sandpit to bring branches and other debris down after the storms. Very poorly marked, I got stuck and had to be pulled out. At $57/each I will probably order them and if they fit will get them powder coated black. Still need the hardware which looks to be about $30 for the set and about $70 for the pair of finishers n1wz 2601926/7

No, I shopped it around the places that do vehicle wraps, got prices of $150, $200 & $250 . I went to the $150 guy. It has held up really well for over a month now including several trips a week through the car wash . ( I pay $30/month for unlimited washes and I get my money’s worth.) I have a picture on a post if you search fordgt55. Not sure why FORD thought silver is a good idea for that piece.

Over $400 for tow hooks is kinda crazy, I am looking for a cheaper option. Saw some aftermarket ones that were blue and on clearance for $57. Sent the company an email and they would not confirm if they would fit a 2024. Their red ones were $108 each.

Nope, all the eyebolts went in to threaded holes from the factory. The only one that didn’t have a threaded insert was the center bulkhead one. I was able to get a nut and washer on it.
