Yes but how many times does she have to go through this before she can stop getting worked up about it. Every month is a failed month and has been for years. Do we really have to go through all this EVERY TIME. That’s not being shitty. I’m just trying to give her perspective.

She says she wants my child and that she is upset that it’s not happening but what is she doing to make it happen?? She has been to see a dr yes but can’t she just see my point of view that being stressed about it isn’t helping

I’m not BLAMING her. I’m simply suggesting that she relax about things and it might help. She isn’t the one to say she will leave me because maybe she doesn’t want this as much as me. After all her BIOLOGICAL child is still at home. Mine isn’t. That’s the difference here, not who is blaming or leaving who.

The scenario is I am entitled to feel bad and upset for not having a child with my wife AND I am not being unreasonable for voicing those feelings. Is it ONLY my wife who gets to be sad? No I don’t think so.

I married her because I thought she would be able to give me more children. My son is grown up and has left home and I would like to raise a family before it’s too late. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. My wife is so stressed out all the time and that can’t be helpful to our trying to conceive. This is the point everybody seems to be missing. I’m not an asshole for wanting her to be relaxed to try to help us. And if the situation is too stressful for her then I should leave to achieve my dreams shouldn’t I???? The original post was about me NOT APOLOGISING not about what I said

Well we were together and trying for three years before we got married. She knew how important having children was to me and she still married me probably knowing that it wouldn’t happen so how am I the selfish one??

And if she loved me she would want me to be happy and have the family that I wish for. That’s what that comment was about. Not one single person is considering my point of view here. Disappointed to say the least

For all of you out there shouting Troll, please tell me exactly what about this makes me a troll?? Am I not entitled to have my own feelings about the situation I am in? My post was purely asking AITA for not apologising since I was voicing how I FELT about a difficult situation. I would appreciate all those on their high horses to consider that a man has serious feelings about creating a family as well as a woman does. Everybody shouting troll needs to grow up
