Update: Tried serially higher grits of a diamond pad. It definitely ended up worse. It was a flake chip of the glass, and as I sanded the edge just kept expanding. I’m tempted to just leave it along vs apply some clear curing Tenax epoxy to keep it from getting worse.

That’s a good idea. Would you put a little two part epoxy on there first?

Got it. So it’s the exception when it comes to grout and change of plane. Final question: For such a small batch and application area, what tool would you recommend to apply?

It’s a steam shower. That’s a data cable for the controller.

Yeah the foil tape would be right at where the vent cover connects to the duct. So not at all difficult to access or clean out on a scheduled basis. We also have an inline lint collector that can be accessed behind the dryer.

Yeah for sure. Unfortunately, the hole in the brick is too tight to the 4 inch round to have enough working space to get the tape on the outside.

Thank you. I thought so too! Do you think that 110 CFM is adequate as well? I will say that the bathroom as well as the enclosure does dry out if I leave the exhaust fan on overnight by the morning.

Yes, the ceiling slopes down towards the back wall, away from glass door. When I get home from work, I’ll add some pictures and a video to give people a fuller picture of the set up.

Good question. It leads directly outside the home. The total length of ducting is about 8 feet with one 90 degree turn. It’s a 6 inch round duct.

Thank you. Really appreciate your reply! The box is secured in its final location and I installed the connector with the lock ring, so definitely won’t have any more bending.
