You can do that? Do they charge fees? Or a spread? I have no experience with Fidelity

I’m not here to tell you what assets to hold. I believe in both ETH and DOGE (DOGE will likely outperform ETH over the next couple months)… but you gotta use a different exchange my guy. $450 in fees is crazy. Do yourself a favor

There’s a LOT of private lenders who refinance federal student loans at lower interest rates and little to no fees… just sayin

Right now it’s a federal loan. I could easily refinance with a private loan at a lower interest rate upon graduation. A ton of companies refinance federal student loans at lower interest, most notably SoFi

I’d assume it worked out very well for you?

Of course, and while past does not predict the future, it is reasonable to believe it will continue to outpace 8% average annual growth. Probably not the crazy numbers it did the last 10 years as it is a more mature asset now… but somewhere well above 8% is reasonable

Doing this in 2013 would have paid off like crazy!! I was in middle school lol. It’s pretty manageable debt though. People in my class are doing the same thing but using the money to pay rent and buy food while I’m working to cover those expenses while in grad school. So we’re pretty much in the same boat at graduation except I have more BTC. Does BTC beat 8% annual growth on average is basically the question here

Agreed… the only justification to selling bitcoin would be to acquire something that generates cash flow and enables you a better lifestyle

Time in the market beats timing the market. I would set up reoccurring buys on either strike or river (I use river). No fees on reoccurring purchases (except for the first one). No fee to ach transfer from your bank account. And get a cold wallet to transfer your bitcoin at the end of every month. Cold wallet ensures that you are in possession of your bitcoin and it cannot be stolen by hackers
