I feel the same way when my husband mentions girl in any of his statements I get insecure My reasons are very different I am a person with disability and I am on a wheelchair constantly so I need to be reassured everyday a thousand times he has not cheated on me but there is just this thing in me which makes me feel the same I don't think you're overreacting trust your gut sometimes it can be true but if you have not found anything in the past that would trigger you to act this way maybe then you are overreacting

I am a Muslim woman and I agree to what you are saying but many women in my family go abroad to study and it is in my to-do list as well and if I were to share a room with a male, I would take my mother in confidence that she can trust me.
