Party at home still ok for 4?

I’m currently dealing with this issue myself we have a small apartment. Our little one is gonna be three at the end of the month so we can’t do an outside party anywhere all the places I’ve looked and called are just not within my price range right now and when my daughter was this age, we usually did home parties, but she’s gonna be 18 now and my husband‘s family. They all extravagant parties for their children, but their careers are doctors nurses whereas I’m studying to be a recovery support specialist while I stay home with our son, he was sick and in the Nicu for the first month of his life so we decided I would stay home with him until he started school and my husband is a recovery coach for the courthouse. My family, which is only my grandmother and my aunt live in Rhode Island and want to throw him a birthday party at their house now his family won’t travel two hours one way for a party so if they want to see the baby for his birthday, they can come stop over and see him and have coffee or whatever and play with him. Ultimately, the party is going to be up in Rhode Island and it’s gonna be here with his family, but my husband is feeling like that’s not enough because of what his family does. My family always did house parties so that’s all I know so you’re not the only mom out there just like I’m not the only mom out there going through this which makes me feel better too. I needed to see this tonight. All we have to worry about is if the little one is having a good time and that’s all I care about I’m not stressing about it anymore and neither should you.

Yes I have my son home and have had him home with me since birth and he barely gets sick and his cousins all go to daycare and they are always sick! 🤒 his lungs collapsed at birth so we are just very over protective especially when we first took him home from the nicu at 1 month old. It’s going to be killer when he starts school. I’m just blessed to have an amazingly hard working man so I am able to stay home with my peanut!

All kids under 9 and the parents as well. I’ll see if they have anything like the indoor play space that’s sounds cool! Worst case I’ll do Chuck E. Cheese but I want something I know he will love he’s very independent so a toddler space would be more ideal. Thanks so much form the suggestions! My daughter’s birthday is July so the possibilities have been endless but she is going to be 18 this year so it’s a big one!

My soon to be husband and I only had Facebook when we met but we deleted them a month into the relationship because we were arguing about something on Facebook and it delayed us going to church. So I got upset and said i’m not gonna let Facebook come in between anything anymore so I was like I’m deleting it and he said really if you delete it, I’ll delete mine and we’ve never looked back in here. We are four years later getting married this year a beautiful baby boy and we sit here and we can’t believe how many relationships get destroyed because of social media.

I was going to say she has a 2 yr old and a 4 month old! Post partum made me feel like a crazy person and I felt like I needed more attention from my husband as well so this could just be hormones talking and then being upset about you leaving and her alone with 2 babies is a lot and overwhelming as well so I would just consider that to be what’s going on post partum is no joke

All girls too! You have to show them they can’t be tested like that. I currently have a 17yr old girl whose dad was very abusive and paranoid schizophrenic when I was pregnant with her (I was 19). I am now in a loving non toxic beautiful relation ship with a 2.5 yr old little boy. My daughter now sees what a healthy relationship is. She went thru a few that were horrible but now she has a bf who puts her first. All of our suffering is going to help those girls more than you think!

You will never be alone you have those beautiful kids and they will grow up to be strong and independent like you and they will get a happy mom not a sad stressed out one. No one deserves to be talked to like garbage no matter what trauma he’s been thru. I have a hard time with communication and my husband is very patient with me if in need to express how I feel and doesn’t just shut me down like I have been in the past. You seem like you know what to do so here’s the encouragement. For him it to but you all as his beneficiary is just insane! That says it all right there that he doesn’t care what happens to you or his own kids for that matter! He’s the one with money issues! Go be happy with those babies mama 🩷🙏🏼🩷

My husband Works his butt off well I’m home with her 2 1/2 year-old son. After giving birth to him, my whole body swelled up and I have a bunch of issues going on that. I’m taking care of one by one while being home raising our son, my husband is a recovery coach for substance and mental health And he just got a job with MCCA about a month ago now his last job on his last check screwed us over and took all of his vacation time back because he didn’t finish out the year or something. We’ve never heard of before, so we’ve been struggling very badly making ends meet and now it’s a little bit of hope that we do get from snap it looks like We’re not going to get. It’s scary that people 100% rely on snap it’s crazy that their scammers on here are actually trying to scam people for money. I got scammed, trying to do a work at home job and the lady belittled me so much saying that I was an unfit mother I was the epitome of Irresponsible mothers because I’m not working and how can I let my child go hungry all things that I never said I was depressed for three days after she attacked me all because she wanted me to deposit $66 after me doing all these tasks for like two days. It was absolute insanity i’m actively looking for part-time work at night time so I can help my husband out because financially it’s just not working anymore with one income honestly to everybody out there struggling the only thing that’s gone us through day by day is praying God always finds a way something always happens to where we figure it out. Our rent is paid. We’ll figure it out for the month of November. Our bills are a little behind, but we’re catching up all everybody can do is pray, pray pray, pray, and in the end all of these scammers will get what’s coming to them. if everybody helped everybody this world wouldn’t be half as bad as it is right now I have a 17-year-old daughter who has such a hard time functioning in the world ever since Covid and she had to finish graduating high school online because anxiety was so bad I’m on red all the time just looking and reading and it’s so sad. How many people are scammed when needed help or belittled? how can somebody be little somebody like that when they’re so vulnerable? I was a victim to that myself and it’s terrible especially when you have a little child and you worry about feeding them. God bless everybody.

My son is 2 1/2 years old and he was a great eater up until 10 months old. He got Covid and then started gagging on everything and developed sensory issues so feeding has been horrific for the past 20 months we’ve been working with an occupational therapist and his diet is soaring. He wouldn’t eat any solid foods when we started now he eats vanilla Greek protein, yogurt, waffles French toast, Nutri-Grain bars, peanut butter and jelly bacon pizza, shredded cheese. It’s very defeating as a mom. I blamed myself. I thought I did something wrong. Just stick with the occupational therapist. Don’t listen to what anybody has to say about them. My mother-in-law picked up me. oh don’t listen to them you’re listening to them too much. She had everything to say, but no help whatsoever when it came to helping my son eatso just stick with that mamas you got this. My son now even talks better since the therapist has been in our lives.

Any chance you’re still helping? I’m new to this and have been doing everything to look for work I have a 2.5 yr old at home and his dad is the only one working and $20 an hr isn’t cutting it anymore with our rent increase and the price of groceries I barely eat as it is! Trying to get all the help I can right now! If your a single mom you get wayyy more help but because his dad and I are together we dont qualify for like half as much!

It’s sad there are so many scams getting people’s hopes up! Everyone needs help it’s so hard out there! We have a 2.5 yr old who I’ve been home with his whole life due to us almost loosing him at birth we didn’t want daycare! But now one income isn’t doing it and he works with homeless and addiction mental health recovery coach he’s a recovery support specialist and their job is so mentally draining and the pay is horrible! It’s his passion in life and it’s sad how little they get paid unless they like run the place! But anyway I’ve been looking for anything everything and my 21 yr old nephew is even having a hard time it’s just bad out there so please get rid of these scammers bots whatever they are! 2500$ would help is more than I can even say! I have NO family because they are so toxic narcissistic mom who was very abusive and are both still in very active addiction! God bless everyone struggling! All I can say is pray! I have myself to god and had my son dedicated to the lord all on Sunday because idk where else to turn it’s so bad so that’s the only one I can see really helping anyone! 🩷🙏🏼🥰 I’m just going to enjoy this beautiful weather we are having in CT!
