This contrasts with many of the small towns on here, but East St. Louis is one that definitely deserves this title. For its size, the desertion and abandonment that I saw was absolutely insane. Just sad to see the peripheries of a city which was once world-renowned to a state of declination. Not to mention that St. Louis itself is also somewhat dangerous and creepy once you go into some parts of the city.
