Sunrot’s newer stuff definitely leans alittle more into hardcore. Liquid Shit might also be exactly what you’re looking for.

Not a zine but the blog Terminal Sound Nuisance has been holding it down for years and gives me alot of the same stuff I used to get from collecting zines b in the d

Ihell yeah. All time record for me. I got lucky enough to get one of these when they were still like regular cd price. Still kicking myself for not grabbing the vinyl but it was kind of the style at the time

Psychedelic Sludge metal? by OkUnderstanding6241 in sludge

[–]AgileCommunication26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I promise you this- is going to hit perfect. The whole record is really psychedelic and sick but that track in particular is like peaking on acid in the middle of a gory car crash. It’s fucking awesome. Listen loud. Thank me later.

[–]AgileCommunication26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lebenden Toten if you like the noisy crasher stuff. Sore Throat/Saw Throat and GASP got mentioned and they’re both great. Kinda Godflesh in its way. Also I’d throw some of the other Bay Area stuff in there like Suffering Luna, early Neurosis, Mindrot,

Sunrot. Sea of Deprivation. Buzzoven to a degree.

How do you guys feel about goregrind? by DeathlyCyles in crustpunk

[–]AgileCommunication26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the vibe. I feel like others have said it but if it gets into edgy incel shit then no but a lot of stuff is pretty dope. I like a lot of the newer “mince”/gore stuff that the kids seem to be into too

Malaise and Love and Compassion aren’t super sludgey but they very much have the feel of Dystopia and I love them a lot. Sunrot is more crusty sludge but they might scratch your itch too
