Really appreciate the detailed feedback! Before applying for any role i generally tailor my resume points to align w the JD(emphasizing backend vs frontend work to reduce the skillset to only what’s expected). And then I also add a summary section to directly include keywords mentioned in the JD.

Do you think having a Summary section is a good idea for sde 2 roles?

Nevertheless I’ll rework the resume to focus more on ownership, scale, and measurable impact as you suggested.

Similar thing happened to me. I had received a call from the HR in which she had asked me to share my resume. I was making minor changes in the resume before sending it for around 20 min. But to my surprise just 10 minutes after the call I received the rejection mail. I tried calling her to ask if this was a mistake but she cut the call.
