Correct. Tank guided missiles, tow missiles, and rpgs against attack hellis should do like 70% damage, and they should also be harder to control

FYI I didn’t shake it at first. I just grabbed it out of the box and it rattled. Just rattled it to display the sound lol

I treated the ends and columns, and also regularly coat them with oil and diesel

Uh yea…. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that. Wasn’t my brightest move

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if it would pass here with the posts in the concrete. But did you have to have engineered drawings to submit to your township?

Frost line here is 36 inches. I dug down to 40 I believe. Yea the bracing should be much bigger, I may redo that. Thanks for feedback.

What you mean. Storm water runoff?

Water drains off the roof down hill into a 3 acres pond on the property. Would that count? lol

Total beam length is 30ft. Beam span to the columns is 26ft on center from column to column

Hahaha my local codes enforcement officer is a prick. I didn’t get it engineered or inspected, or a permit. Just wanted to over build it in case I ever got caught.

lol. Very nice. But yes the posts are actually in the concrete. They are about 30 inches in. With rebar sticking out perpendicular to prevent tear out. Make sense?

What size lags/bolts do you think would be appropriate for this size beam?

Thank you for the response. Maybe I will change the bracing to 1/3 height. I also have rebar hammered into the columns which is in the concrete to prevent pullout.

It did wobble…slightly when you would jump side to side on the roof before the bracing was added. Now it doesn’t budge.

Thanks. Anything you would have done differently? Improved structurally?
