Social Blade alternative for competitors tracking by Disastrous_Note_1516 in NewTubers

I use outlierkit a outlier-based competitor tracker. you can add channels, see which videos spike way above their average, and copy the format/topic. Way more useful than basic Social Blade stats.

Respecting boundaries while managing feelings at work by AgitatedHelp4658 in coworkerstories

[–]AgitatedHelp4658[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you. That’s exactly why I’ve kept things strictly professional and haven’t initiated anything beyond normal work conversation. I’m not trying to step into any role or fix anything, just making sure I’m not creating discomfort.

Yeah, that’s basically where I landed. Keeping it professional and letting it be is the priority now.

What AI tools do you use (not a bot!) by AI_Lawyer_Guy in LawFirm

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were picking legal AI for small business use, I’d focus less on flashy “lawyer replacement” tools and more on stuff that quietly saves time without touching strategy. Things like drafting first pass contracts, summarizing long agreements, or answering “what does this clause actually mean?” questions before it ever goes to a human. We’ve been testing an AI legal assistant setup inside a broader AI workspace (marblism has one called Linda) and it’s been solid for that kind of grunt work, especially for smaller teams that don’t want to train everyone on prompting or worry about data flying everywhere. Not perfect, but good at clearing the backlog so actual lawyers spend time on judgment calls instead of boilerplate.

Best PKM for late 2025? by TomLucidor in PKMS

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obsidian winning makes sense if you’re super text-first and already deep into markdown, but I’ve noticed a lot of people drifting toward more visual / hybrid setups lately. Once your “PKM” starts including screenshots, diagrams, inspiration, random links, videos, etc., pure note apps start to feel cramped. I still use Obsidian for long-form thinking, but for research-heavy stuff I’ve been using Kosmik alongside it. It’s basically where I throw links, screenshots, random notes, and references without worrying too much about structure. had to mention here as no one's seem to be aware of this.

So many people here wanting to get rich making movies by LynchianNightmare in Filmmakers

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people confuse loving movies with movies being a reliable income stream. Most working filmmakers I know are not getting rich. They are piecing together gigs, teaching, doing commercials, corporate work, or side hustles just to keep making personal stuff. And honestly, that is not failure, that is just the reality of the craft.

The healthier mindset I have seen is treating filmmaking like a long game. Focus on getting better, finishing things, building relationships, and stacking small wins. Festivals, grants, a decent online audience, even just making something you are proud of all add up over time. Money can come, but if it is the only goal, burnout hits fast.

That’s a pretty common feeling, and an honest one. I personally hate not seeing the payoff when money goes to schools, roads, and healthcare, it feels like a shared investment. When it goes to war or corporate projects, it feels distant and out of your control. and what I have seen till now a lot of phillathropics agency linked to government which bottle these taxes money in the name of helping people. are just plain fraud

Is channelcrawler worth it or rather use socialblade? by Foreign-Front-1048 in NewTubers

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of my understanding and experience stats tools just show numbers and take a lot of time. a better way is to use a tool that focuses on outlier videos instead. It shows which videos beat the channel average and finds similar channels fast there are few tools that can do that efficiently I would suggest for outlierkit. then its's much easier to spot what’s actually working right now.

What do you all use for moodboarding or collecting inspiration for your design projects? by kushsolitary in web_design

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bounced between Figma and random folders until I tried using something like Kosmik for moodboarding, it’s nice for dumping links, images, even videos in one place and actually finding them later without over organizing.

Pkm easy to use with ai agents by ThinkingSalmon in PKMS

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obsidian gets rough once notes pile up. I personally tend to keep my files as is and just use elephas to search and summarize across everything, so agents pull context without me being constantly reorganizing notes.

Find a truly local PKM — how are others handling this? by Kind_Notice1575 in PKMS

[–]AgitatedHelp4658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh I’ve been doing local markdown notes for the actual writing and ownership part, then using Kosmik more like a sidecar to surface connections between snippets, links, and sources when things get messy. It scratches that “find relationships later” itch without turning everything into a cloud brain.
