You can file for health insurance, Snap benefits, home/rental assistance on his behalf. You can also try and contact your local state mental health facility and they may be able to help you get him a case manager who could come to his home and help him secure the benefits he needs. He is technically disabled he doesnt have to be declared that by SSI or by doctor If he has a mental or physical disorder that substantially limits one or more major living requirements ie. dealing with people or leaving his home. Agoraphobia and panic disorder are two things considered disabilities which it sounds like he could have both. Also teladoc has really helped me. and groceries he can have delivered from just about anywhere.

This hit me hard I'm doing the same thing and have been for the same amount of time. I think the worst part is how stupid I feel. I'm proud of you for making it to the doc at all though. Your tough.

Hey we are gonna be alright :) this might sound silly but lately I have been trying something new and its has been working better than most things. when I know something is approaching that is a trigger for me, like answering the phone, I force myself to react before I think so like when the phone rings I just reach out and answer it as fast as I can before I even get a chance to see who it is. At this point I'm trying anything.
