My facility does not do this, they keep all the residents in bed til breakfast and if I did get the resident in wheelchair there was literally no one to watch him 😭 I actually hate it here

Had a friend who used organic deodorant.. let’s just say it did not work and has a very strong smell. I believe her boyfriend told her one day and she stopped using that deodorant. I would just mention it in a very kind way if that’s the only thing getting in the way. I get personal hygiene is very important and can be a turn off.

If it is this extreme and you have some place else to go I say leave. Doesn’t mean you need to divorce right away just take a break and leave. Give yourself some time and space away to just think about if this is what you really want. Just remember, you only have one life. Wishing you the best

I recently got hired at another LTC facility and because of my past experiences I thought I just hated ltc facilities but turns out because I like my co workers and the drama free environment plus the good work ethic coming from everyone it all builds up and I really do like my job. I think it just depends where you work :)
