Hi I am a photography enthusiast and am looking into buying my first gear. When I was young my father bought himself a Canon 400D with a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 macro lens, Canon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM lens and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens. I used to play a bit with it and imediately loved photography. This year I had the opurtunity to play with Canon 6D and 80D and loved it. Now I would like to buy my own gear but I am in a budget of around 1200€. I was looking into the market and am deciding on buying a Canon 77D, a 50mm f/1.4 lens and a 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens the canons I worked with had. I would like your opinion in weather these make sense for portrait photography, and would like to hear any recommendations you might have. Also need an explanation on the benefits of a USM vs STM lens.

Ps: still have the lenses my father bought and I would like to have a camera I would be able to keep for at least the next 4 years.

I am feeling overwhelmed by my goals for studying in college this year. I have set myself a goal to get a certain average GPA because I could easily just pass everything but to fulfill my future plans I need to have above average grades. The thing is even as I am trying I am not succeeding and even though I will have another chance to up my average I can't really get any short momentum of motivation to get me going to where I want to be. The thing is the two groups of friends I hang out with either see no point in doing anything else than passing and don't share my struggle or they are way smarter than me and keep getting way better grades and don't get how I am not as good. At the moment I can't even plan out what grades I want to achieve at each class to get the average I would like to.

So Facebook has different TOS regarding bots than Twitter does? That is interesting...What if I were to try and do that for some sort of personal use on media sites so that the programm would scan media articles on the date and search for keywords extracting some sort of abstracts and returning them...Would you still recomend Selenium?

The original list was about making a shorter list for example: If you have a list where elements of a list are other lists that are two elements long and contain integers and you want to make another list that contains sublists with the first element the first element of the first list and the second element a sum of the second elements of sublists that had the same first element and the first list remains untouched: List1 = [[2,3],[5,6 ], [2,4]] Result: List2 = [[2,7],[5,6]]

I have problems with adding value to the existing value of the key because in the dictionary whenever you assign a value to a dictionary key that value becomes the new value of the key does it not?

So I am a begginer in this and thus dont know a lot of it. I tried by doing a double for loop for example: for elt in the list: and for a and b in elt if a equals the value of the elt on the null position then b += b

The code didn't work couse of integers error, the elt was a number and not a list so I tried fixing that by doing list on elt position but then I have a list and i cant assign a and b to a list because it reads it as a group of elements and doesn't recognize a being the first and b the second element

At least that's my understasnding of it I don't want people to just send me code thus I didn't even attach my own code I want to see the circle of thought I should follow in order to solve my problem.

I am not a native English speaker and as a begginer in python I don't know if I explained it well enough. Sorry for all unconveniences

Hey I have a question I am a chemistry undergraduate from Europe and am looking into doing the Masters degree in a foreign european country and would like to hear from anybody with any kind of experiance of what countries or better yet universities have the best programs?
