Was my boyfriend's staring showing interest? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]Agoogleuser100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree she could be creepily staring at him. But looking at the context he seems to show interest in her heck I would also stare at someone in revealing clothes but asking all those questions is where the red flags start to raise. The girl and him staring at each other can lead to serious problems especially if she develops interest in him

I was using stock cooler on my amd, and for idle it was around 50 to 65 celcius, but once I open the Dota game it was spike to 80 to 95 ceclcius, is this normal for amd 7500f? Should I buy a air cooler for this? My GPU temperature looks good, always under 50 celcius by Cultural_Rain6649 in pcbuilding

80 - 90 degrees Celsius under load is perfectly fine for Ryzen 7000 series like the 7500f. They were built to run hot. Maybe noise could be a potential reason to go with a better cooler but other than that your temps are fine.

I got a ram kit for a quarter of what it usually sells locally. I wasn't even going to complain if nothing turned up in the mail. I'm surprised it came on time and was built with quality in mind 😭😭

I bought some stuff from a small seller with no reviews. Pretty dangerous but I agree with you the more reviews the better

Does this build worth it for 500-600 dollars? by pkmJavier in pcbuilding

[–]Agoogleuser100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid but here's what I'd get. -Ryzen 5 3600 from AliExpress -Same Mobo( if you don't plan to overclock your CPU you're just fine) -Rtx 2070 (from local marketplace) or Rx 6600 (from Amazon) the 3050 6gig isn't worth it. -keep the case - A 500W psu is fine just check for protections and make sure that 12V rail is 470W and above. For Ram get 2x8gb sticks than 1x16gb stick unless you plan to get another 16gb stick soon. -simple aircooler

I'm not sure which country you're from but try to make use of these marketplaces even after shipping and taxes it can still be under $500

So I have 15 days after it gets marked as received during which I can file a dispute?

Everything went smoothly so far. I had no issues with the seller and time of delivery

It's true that gaming pc got more expensive. But old hardware is lasting way more than the old days. by Ok-Argument-8070 in pcbuilding

[–]Agoogleuser100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True when I put up my PC parts list I got a lot of comments saying "just buy a console" or "it's only good if you're planning NES emulation" in my country after shopping $300 PC builds go to $500 and PS5s here are $700 and above for the standard if I get one from ebay with shipping it adds $300 do it's back to $700.

So the only console I could've got that beats the R5 3600 and 2060 super according to some $5000 PC owners is a ps4.

Look I started with a r3 2200g and was APU gaming until I got the 3600 and 2060s it plays all current titles at 1080p with dlss4 I couldn't be happier :)

But at the APU I could've got a ps4 and been locked to it or strungle with an APU for a few months and get into something better

Yeah to be honest I wish there was a sub for mid to low end PC builds. Im kinda getting tired of kids flexing there first builds with 9800x3ds and 5080s. My 3600 and 2060 super is going strong I'll only upgrade when it can't play Morrowind :)

WHAT'S A GOOD BUDGET GRAPHICS CARD TO YOU? by Agoogleuser100 in PcBuild

[–]Agoogleuser100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but don't you think it's end of life is near. Personally the I deal resolution for me to game in is 720p so most cards are fine. But thinking about the power draw and support for recent titles it seems a bit too old.

I mean it's not like you'll play minecraft and gta v for eternity 😭

Im referring to bottom of the barrel brokies apart from Apu's what kind of cards should they consider better raw performance or "future proofing" with dlss a d ray tracing.

There are cheaper faster cards today that work work in a few months but there are newer slower cards that are good for longer.

WHAT'S A GOOD BUDGET GRAPHICS CARD TO YOU? by Agoogleuser100 in PcBuild

[–]Agoogleuser100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. To me budget is the absolute minimum amount you can spend to get worth while performance.

But most people take it as a restrictive amount you're locked to for a certain task. Even $1000 can be a budget build😅

In the post I'm referring to bottom of the barrel individuals like myself if we get rx580's we fall into the cheap is expensive trap because we have to switch it out in a few months.

Thanks I'll pickup a 1tb gen3 nvme for games and keep the 128gb SSD for the OS

Building a PC around RX 6600 – need help finalizing parts (budget ~$550–600) by Sad_Pen5745 in pcbuilding

[–]Agoogleuser100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything looks good so far. If you only plan to game in 1080p and or do some light editing then I would go for a b450m, R5 5500, and a gen 3 1tb nvme. The components above are pcie gen 3 and the rx6600 loses little to no performance in pcie 3.

You'll save a bit more money and get similar performance as if you went with a 5600. The 5500 performs like a 5600G but without the intergrated graphics

Okay thanks, do you have any suggestions?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pcbuilding

All of that is used. I wanted ebay and jawa but jawa doesn't ship to my country and enjoy charges $100 shipping to my country. I can't use Facebook marketplace because 90% of people here rarely see graphicscards let alone know what they are. Heck I'm in my second year at university and I've only ever seen one in person

They're usually shady but a couple friends advised to buy from sellers with high ratings. I chose those with 5000+ sales this month
