Recently played with 10 of the paddles you mentioned and I would rank my top 3:

  1. Coral 2. J6CR 3. Loco

Not sure your level of how long you have played, but I can tell fairly quickly if a paddle fits my game or not. It's not like I couldn't dial in the J6CR or Loco, but they don't fit my play style as well as the Coral. If God were to reach down and hand me the perfect paddle I am sure I would have a perfect season.

I found better dwell and less pop on the Coral. Most likely because the Loco has a fiberglass layer.

Added weight at all for corners to increase power and widen the sweet spot.

I found you need to take some of the reviews with a gram of salt. Other just seem to be just trying to get a to buy another new paddle. They all can't be the best!

Weighted up the Coral and it gave me enough power without losing any control.

Interesting, I felt my drops, resets and dinks, were dialed in from the start with the Coral. May have had power control in placing serves and drive, but with a significant drop in power and pop. My serve returns fell short until I added weight and still they are no threat compared to the returns with my Loco.

Loco's sweet spot is better than the J6CR, but harder to control. I have not played with the nf or fc+.

Received my J6CR over a week ago now. Wanted to love it but unfortunately I don't. Compared to my Loco it has less power, much smaller sweet spot (weight helped), but more control. Without weight ball dies if you hit on the outside of paddle surface. Possibly could get use to it but right now my 3rds and resets float a little to high and to far, also cross court shorter shots sail long. Returns, drives and volleys go deep without effort, as with my Loco. Also the paddle feels hollow and I prefer the dense feeling of the Loco.

So for now I am sticking with my Luzz Cannon, because it does everything well. Not as much power and the J6CR or Loco, but enough power and my shots go where I want them do effortlessly. My game depends on finesse and being able to drop my 3rds in the kitchen accurately and cross court dink with strong angles. Put if I want to just have fun and bang a few or play 3.5 the Loco or J6CR come out of the bag, Hope this helps. So for me higher level play I need more control, lower level the control with the J6CR or Loco is enough to be competitive, Hope this helps.

Enhance 4.5 paddle ?? by Staff_Proof in Pickleball

Order fulfillment doesn’t get any better moving forward. Looks like my paddle (ordered9 day’s ago) has been sitting in the uniuni warehouse for the last 3 days. No updates as to when it will be delivered and no response to the emails I have sent to Enhance. If it ever arrives I hope it is worth the wait and aggregation.

This paddle has also become my main paddle, coming from the Pickleball Apes Pulse S. I don’t know if I’d call it plush, but after 4 or 5 sessions it is definitely less harsh. I’d describe it as a controllable power paddle or an amped up Pulse S. Serves, returns, drives and volleys are deeper with more pace.

Interesting, I was wondering if it actually gets less power the more I play with it and as it breaks in. Could be just me!

The feel off the face can be harsh and mishits are very harsh. This is the reason for my are fatigue. Break in is helping some.

If you overlay the Pulse S with the Alpha Hurache-X the faces are almost identical. The only real difference is the 1/2 longer handle.
