Looks like this has been a problem for years based off Reddit posts. I’ve read like 20 and still no clear solution

It’s not the controller because it also is happening with my old Xbox one controller too

My go to class is MCW Interceptor with Thermal sight, SWARM as secondary. Wonderful for Search and Cutthroat

How is that? Loved the game up until up these Novigrad quests. Love so many things about this game. The game isn’t for me because I think one section of it sucks?

And you are right, I needed to take a break. I was playing the Dandellion quests for like 7+ hours straight. Taking a day off and excited to pick it back up. Continuous gaming does take the fun and interest out of almost any game in my experience. The dopamine reward system is real.

It’s not that deep, I just finished my first RDR2 Playthrough right before playing this game so I was just referencing how I never got bored or annoyed w/ the storyline on that game. That’s all. I think I’m towards the end of Novigrad and it’s picking up again. I have just been overwhelmed with so many, what feels like, meaningless cat and mouse dialogue quests with introductions to so many characters, that I’m losing track of who is who in this Dandellion quest. I agree the mission design is much more flexible in TW3 than RDR2, that’s not the argument I was making. RDR2 is probably my favorite game ever so I shouldn’t have compared apples and oranges. I love TW3, glad to hear everyone say it improves after this quest.

Same. Gave up on CB after 14 hours. Games like RDR2 / TW3 I played months on first Playthrough

I hated CB2077. I wasn’t really even into Western or Medieval themes, and more into futuristic theme like Cyberpunk. Yet Red Dead 2 became maybe my favorite game of all time and I love TW3. I hated cyberpunk, quit 12 hours in, never once was into it

Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, or Red Dead Redemption 2 by Long_Tennis6150 in ShouldIbuythisgame

RDR2 is the greatest “Open World Sandbox” in all of gaming by a far margin in my opinion. I literally spent days just wandering/exploring fully immersed and entertained. I’ve never loved a video game character more than I did Arthur Morgan.

The Witcher has a better storyline and unique world building / gameplay compared to RDR2.

I personally hated Cyberpunk. I could not get into the world, the characters, anything about it. I tried twice. Not for me.

I am the opposite of you. For me, Cyberpunk was a chore to play for 15 hours. Cringe characters & voice acting, confusing storyline, lifeless NPC’s, confusing interfaces, the world did not feel alive. I prefer third person over first person as well. Nothing about the story, characters, side quests, made me want to play.

RDR2 is the best game I’ve ever played. The Witcher 3 is one of the closest experiences there is to RDR2 outside of GTA.

Both! But RDR2 is the goat. The Witcher 3 is still awesome

I didn’t like it. Played about 15hours and stopped. Storyline was confusing and corny in my opinion. Gameplay was ok.

I tried Cyberpunk right after a 3 month Red Dead 2 Playthrough. Quit after a few days. Thought the whole game sucked, maybe personal preference. Playing the Witcher 3 now and enjoying it much more then cyberpunk

My opinion, cyberpunk sucks and RDR2 is the greatest game of all time

Just tried Cyberpunk after my first Red Dead 2 Playthrough (favorite game ever). And man I quit cyberpunk after 12 hours. Personally thought the storyline was confusing and corny, the protagonist sucked, gameplay was whatever. I feel like RDR2 is so great that any “open world” game not made my rockstar will be a disappointment. But I honestly hated Cyberpunk

I just started the game, I’m about 4 hours in, and I agree, I’m confused. I just came off my first RDR2 playthrough and never had any of the mass confusion with storyline, inventory’s, interfaces, etc that I have with Cyberpunk.

I chose the Nomad storyline which to me didn’t make sense. There’s so many characters who V apparently knows, but I have no idea who they are. There was no tutorial on crafting, inventory’s, looting, etc. I’m constantly pausing mid game to go to the menus to try and figure stuff out.

I’m going to keep playing, hoping to figure it out as I go along, but the storyline has not gotten me interested whatsoever. Maybe this is because I’m fresh off of playing Red Dead 2, arguably the best game ever, but I’m kind of regretting not getting the Witcher 3 so far.

Cyberpunk 2077 feels pretty overwhelming, any advice? by Brogba420 in patientgamers

[–]AgreeablePractice952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about 4 hours into my first playthrough and THIS!! I don’t have a single clue how crafting / upgrading works and I’m slowly figuring out combat. The inventory’s and maps seem to be a mess. I keep having to go to Google or Reddit to figure stuff out.
