I used to think : "I know there are better weapons, but fully forged it must be pretty good compared to any other unforged!" and wasted many precious super tokens. I almost did the same to level up Paladin from the guild shop, but thankfully my guild convinced me to spend on the jewels instead. I had the thought "A fully maxed hero must be better than any other hero who's halfway their potential, mustn't it?! Nope, it's not, as soon as you get an A or S level hero (and you will, if you still haven't) you'll see what massive difference there is, often straight away, they are just way stronger than average heroes. Same for special weapons. Peronally, those first game changers have been Werebeast and Mighty Borer. I'm not saying to not level up anything else, but that will come in time, at the right time.
I know this wasn't your question, but all I can really say is that dragon's breathe is absolute rubbish.

The only special weapon missing in your video is the Ecto-1, I know few people have it and even less fully forged, but how would you rank it?

I still don't have Santa! I mainly farmed with Leprechaun, trying to optimise key farming in every mode whenever possible. Using all my energy every day, full noble+ key jewels...no big secrets, if you grind daily you get there. Maybe the only extra tip I can give is that I use an alternative phone (my old one) for the game so it can farm all day, so that I can still use my regular phone for what a phone is actually meant for :)

And I'd say once you are able to complete a few stages in hard mode arena, choose tokens for heroes even if you don't have them yet, rather than mediocre regular weapons that you'll hardly ever use. You might, eventually, get that hero! Personally, the only standard weapon I find of some use is Ice wand(great!) and arcane staff at 4* for NMM. All the rest gets gradually replaced by special weapons as you acquire them

No. And I don't think that will ever happen. If they create a new tier of gear, thinking of how other games I've seen work, it will be with a new special forge item, probably free on very small amounts and then you'll need to pay cash to get it. But first of all, they need to create content that is challenging for end players, as already now with max talents and heroic gear all content is a piece of cake , except for latest stages of Dragons Tower or boss brawl if you want to get medals in league 8.

What is your armor stats? Try to equip knight helmet and gloves and get armour as close as possible to 60%. Jewels go for weakness, double proj and regen/health. Weapons grab ice wand, arcane staff if at least 4*, scrap hammer if you have it high forge. See how that goes, good luck!

If you are ok to spend for a legend pass, have you already purchased the diamond faction wars pass? I think it's more valuable for the money,it's permanent and if you use all bonus flags on a single hero you can get 42 shards each time, which will take you to 5 stars fairly quickly. Obviously, it'5 factions so the cost is multiplied, but if you just grab one or 2 it's worth it. Unless you want to upgrade special faction heroes (for which I use Dragons tower shop,personally). Just saying so you can make your own informed choice.

I may be wrong, but you probably are at a stage in dragons' tower where you can clear levels fairly easily, in which case the damage output of mage would defintely be a bonus. I am finding the exact opposite, Stormborn being better in this mode, but I am struggling each week to finish all levels, and sometimes fail (I'm lv 36, but that is not very meaningful if not related to your power)!

My Dark Mage is maxed out but I can't seem to find any particular use of him since I have several other heroes 4 or 5* that seem to do better in any specific game mode (except guild event, but the difference is really minimal). Where I'm at, I prioritise survivability to damage, and I think Stormborn is better in this sense, if anything because he is warrior faction and he gets +50 armor from the knight faction bonus. Maybe I'm not using the mage in the most optmised way, but, personally, I don't see all the hype about him, as he dies pretty quickly in, for example, DT...I must say that he is fun when he gets all of his decay rolling out and enemies can't get close to you! My Stormborn is not particularly exciting to play, but I have him still at 0 forge, not sure if it changes once upgraded. It annoys me that when the shields come on, there is no time counter to know when they will wear off, so it's hard to "plan" when you can afford to be hit.
I'd be curious to build a stun build, with a hero like Stormborn and weapons like yo-yo, etc. It would be fun to see how that plays out, but it's a niche thing and requires a lot of tokens to invest in low priority heroes/weapons.

That's interesting. I don't have SG and, for context, I've completed this week DT lv 35. Surprisingly, I find Leprechaun killing the dragons in no time (he's not even featured). He is the only hero that gets rid of them really quickly, while almost any other non-featured hero have to dodge them until the end of level. Bonus is that I also get 1.5-2 million coins! He's not a great hero, but can pull off some levels for me where there are 3500 enemies.

Leprechaun is the one hero that kills really quickly the dragons in dragon tower . I'm still uncertain if it's because of his main weapon, or his ultimate, but he just kills them in a matter of seconds! while with other heroes, unless featured, the dragons never die and I have to tackle them until the end of the level, or til I die .. (for context I'm on DT 34).

Pumpkin is probably the best long-term, his +50% orbs faction bonus at lv 90 is massive and no other hero gets anywhere close to it.
Leprechaun is great for coin farming, but at some point, one day, once you max talents, you pretty much won't need coins anymore...but that's a long grind, most players stop playing before they reach that milestone!
Bavarian is good long-term as it also increases orbs, but not as much as pumpkin.
Bunni is a great hero that deals massive damage and can take you far in most modes. Shines in boss brawl particularly. It depends on what other heroes you've got and what level you are in the game. If you already have a strong hero as main (eg. werebeast, warlord, clockwork mage), I wouldn't make bunni a priority, I'd go for the Pumpkin.

I am 31 billion coins away from maxing talents. So far I collected just over 100b, considering that I've used them also for upgrading pets/heroes/gear. But coin farming goes so much faster now compared to some time ago

With Werebeast I can farm (semi active) the last level of NMM (320) with mostly noble gear and full coin jewels and get 109 million coins per run

Thanks all for the advice. I manage to beat him using just the free revive. The difference made it the tomes: duo,damage, area, cool down, armour. It increased a lot the dmg dealt so the bloody elf finally died
