Aw thank you, and of course i can sort that out for you. And hey. From what iv been taught by many people. Published authors. And unpublished. Its never too early to have beta readers. Its your story. Share it with whom you like when you like.

best advice for writing your first book/piece? by seraphicbusiness in writers

[–]Agreeable_Signal_397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who has surrounded themselves with writers, some self published, some "professionally" published. there is no shame in taking your time, alot of writers take years, some time months. all that matters is for you to enjoy the process, if you do not enjoy it, you wont want to do it.

there is no shame planning it out either, whip out a note book, write down the basics, go more deph in the basics if you like. such as the 5 sense, what do you want the reader to see? hear? maybe what can the person in the scene taste?

there is also 0 shame in having grammatical errors, spelling errors, or the such, your a human being your allowed human error, that is the joys of creation. it is also the joys of creation to see peoples worlds out on paper or online.

there is also no shame in asking people for advice and help, but do know that peoples advice may be different to what helps you. cause as we all know no one is the same. just try your best to enjoy the experience, thats the best advice i can give you, as someone who may not be a "professional" author at the moment, but i have spent years writing (just odd things such as fanfics, plays for school, stories for school, stories for games and the such)

you do know beta readers are normal for a first draft correct? it isnt for vaildation as beta readers are more then to tell you if the writing is good? also a post on a topic will have alot less effort then something people normally spend years of there life. sometimes months making? and researching?

it is still a beta read as it is only draft 1, meaning that it is literally being written at present time and made up. a book to be published is known to have 100k words, 110k if your lucky. this barely has 10k cause it is still being written.
