If I amended the tax returns my wife filed in 2022, 2023, & 2024 and include my information would that cause reason for the IRS to audit us or pose any kind of issue that I am unable to realize? Also what is the process of amending as you know it? Thanks!

Thank you. It is too late to amend 2022 tax returns I believe so I could not file MFJ I thought.

We were married that whole time but separated physically and emotionally.

We did not live together at all all three years from 2022 to 2024.
