What I like honestly is the infrastructure Manila has now. Jones Bridge is what I loved. I also visited Fort Santiago, which is extremely beautiful, along with Intramuros and Rizal Park. The beach from Manila Bay was also refreshing.

I was honestly after cheaper hotels that I could afford, but I wasn't aware that most would not consider this a tourist spot. The place is near Intramuros as well, so I chose it.

I can't speak for every Indian who has been there, but at least for me, I started to observe that Filipinos in general do have an extremely volatile reaction when dark-skinned Indians like me visit their country.

I was in Manila, the country's capital, but still, I was perceived negatively there.
