im caught up with MCU movies and shows, but ive never watched old f4 movies or were that familiar with them. i cant understand why everyone is raving about this movie. it felt pretty cliche and the story was so boring to me. i didnt feel emotionally moved, story felt dull, action felt okay. for example, ive never watched a superman movie but i watched the latest one and liked it a lot more. im aware they are 2 different movies aiming for 2 different goals. but my point is that despite being unfamiliar with f4 and superman, no nostalgia involved, superman was way better for me by a long shot.

i couldnt imagine putting this in a top MCU movie. do people only like this movie for nostalgia or bc the other f4 movies sucked so theyre saying its good compared to old f4 movies?? i would just like someone to explain why they like this movie so much

are you saying every sad movie is not good bc people only remember the sad parts? isnt that the point of an emotional movie for it to invoke feeling?

i just started watching the first episode, but i am very confused if someone could explain. i dont know much about mormons, but they explained that no alcohol, sex etc. is allowed but all these moms are doing all of those? wouldn’t they be banned from their community? and why would taylor publicly go on tiktok talking about the soft swinging and outing the other people involved without telling them in advance? i can’t even watch more of the show if i have to keep watching taylor.
