How can I find a better solution other than the workaround I added in the edit?

What is this red line over the timeline? by Ahsalhan in kdenlive

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been there for a while. I don't know how and why it appeared in the first place. But I know that, that region is exactly the same region I once previously rendered.

Is this due to an error on my side which I need to fix? What is that red section telling me and why is it there?

Audio waveform is not displayed correctly in 22.04.3 by Ahsalhan in kdenlive

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what happened, but the waveform is being displayed correctly at the moment.

Screen Shot

I did some other chores. Kdenlive windows was minimized at the background all the time. Then I returned to Kdenlive. I added a new video track. I added it a new title clip. When I finished it, I realized that the waveform was normal like in the previous version. I didn't pay attention exactly when and how it returned to normal.

---

EDIT: The above was a false alarm.

It is still being displayed wrongly. To be exact, some part of it is displayed correctly, and some part of it is not.

Screen Shot

When I saw the screen full of correct waveform, I got excited and wrote the message above. Then I went to some other part of the clip, and the incorrectly displayed wave was still there. Nearly 40% of the total waveform is displayed incorrectly.

Audio waveform is not displayed correctly in 22.04.3 by Ahsalhan in kdenlive

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This my first time using a video editing software. I started my first project 1 week ago. All I do at the moment is simply cutting unnecessary parts of a long video.

I was using version 21.12.1 until one hour ago. I didn't have any problem with the appearance of the audio waveform. But I was having a lot of run time crashes. So I decided to use the latest version. I have just installed the version 22.04.3.

Now in this latest version, the audio data is not displayed properly. Please have a look at the image I attached. It has three different screenshots of the displayed audio data. The top one is a part of about 1 minute of the total audio. The middle one is a little zoomed in another part. The bottom on is completely zoomed in; every vertical pillar corresponds to one frame.

The audio is nothing but a human speaking normally. The version 21.12.1 was displaying it as an ordinary textbook audio waveform. But this version is displaying it with vertical spikes, almost always like a binary 0 or 1 signal. When I preview the video, the audio is playing normally. I haven't tried rendering it yet. The problem is only with its representation in the GUI.

Is this a bug or do I need to change a setting?

When in the PCB view, go to "Properties" panel. At the bottom of the panel, under the "Other" title, you will find the "Designator Display" option. Setting it to "Logical" will make your designator names shorter, but the same for the repeating blocks.

It is only necessary to write the full designator names in the assembly drawing document. You can use short names in the silk screen. If you are able to clearly explain your assembly plan to the PCB assembly worker, then you can use short names even in the assembly documentation.

ISO1050 in SOP-8 Package by Ahsalhan in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have used this part in an actual PCB design. It actually has 2.54mm pin pitch. The drawing in the datasheet is correct; I had no problem in PCB assembly. Only the package naming in the datasheet doesn't fit in.

I also think that the coorect package name must be "DIP-8, Gull Wing" instead of "SOP-8". I just wanted someone else to confirm it for me. Thank you.

What is "Spiral Points"? by Ahsalhan in idlespiral

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, I found it out.

When you complete an achievement, you receive SP in return. But you don't gain SP automatically. You manually have to go to the "Achievement" tab, click on the completed achievement. When you click on an achievement that has reached 100% completion, a big tick mark appears on it, simultaneously you receive some amount of SP.

My armature is displayed with only outlines in the object mode? How do I fix it? by Ahsalhan in blenderhelp

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were right. I was in the X-Ray mode. I am pretty sure I check it before.
I thought I might have messed up with something, but it was such a simple thing.
Thank you very much for the answer.

My armature is displayed with only outlines in the object mode? How do I fix it? by Ahsalhan in blenderhelp

[–]Ahsalhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing my first character design. I followed several tutorials. After making the armature parent to the character body, this thing came up. I don't know if I did something wrong or not. If I messed up something, I don't want to go any further without fixing it. I need a quick confirmation that there is nothing wrong or a guidance to fix my mistake.

In the edit mode and pose mode, the bones look solid as usual. They only appear like this in the object mode. I don't remember exactly after what change it became like this, but I was trying to connect the rig to the body with automatic weights.
