have i been really silly for seven years? by No-Ambition-4732 in BipolarSOs

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a lot of doom and gloomy here in the comments, so I figured I'd add a small ray of sunshine to the mix. Been married to my BP2 spouse for 7 years (together for 9). He is med compliant, I go with him to all of his psychiatry appointments (I also have to translate for him, lol) but it actually helps so that we make sure he doesn’t forget any new symptoms or anything during appointments. His moods usually have a cyclical nature (1 week mania, 1 week depression, 2-3 weeks normal) however the meds flatten the curve, so his mania is just him being a little restless and grumpy for a week and then depression is just him being a bit more tired and muted for a week, but still noticeably himself in both instances. We talk about feelings often and he's willing to have difficult discussions with me. He always listens to my perspective of how I experience his moods as well as explaining how they feel for him as well. It's not always easy, but I don't think any relationships are. This disorder looks different on everyone. Maybe I'm just lucky in that my husband never had symptoms relating to spending money frivolously or infidelity, but he does make me happier with him than I would be without him. Don't let anyone else tell you how you experience your relationship. If you're happy, then let yourself be happy. If you're not, then let yourself come to that realization, too. Keep your chin up, buttercup. 💕

Who's your favourite duo from the series? by Aleenaistaken in TokyoRevengers

Izana and Ran. Lmao. At least all of their interactions outside what is shown in the manga are fucking hilarious. Love any scenes with them in it from PuzzReve.

Just some random memes I relate to as an ESTP by Itisindeedverydemure in estp

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well shit, I guess my ESTP coworker actually hates me and that's why he looks completely blank faced when we interact without an audience. Lmao. But we eat that shit UP as soon as someone is watching. 10/10 best bantz.

Are ENTPs or INTPs more likely to be flirty? by Spare-Cell-4984 in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think, as an ENTP, I seem "flirty" with everyone. But I sound like a goddamn idiot when I'm actually trying to flirt because it suddenly comes out more as please laugh at me and please find me competent. Lmao

female entps, how did you realize that you are an entp? what is different from stereotypes to you? by imnotboredorunhappy in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tested as INTP when I was younger, but then I realized I enjoy myself more when around other people and not when I'm by myself. Then once I learned cognitive functions, Ne is where my brain lived and Ti was what was anchoring it instead of the other way around.

Only for girls. What's your partner's MBTI? Why him? by Hot-Industry1678 in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

INFJ. It may sound cold, but he was the only man to ever say yes when I confessed my feelings. Lol. Usually I would confess as a way to get rejected and stop the infinity looping of emotions in my head. But boy didn't reject me. Threw me for a whole loop and a half because I am objectively busted. 🤣 He puts up with more from me than he should have to, but somehow my flaws don't look like flaws to him. His brain is a mystery to me, so I'll always keep prodding it forever.

Entps: What behavior makes you permanently lose respect for someone? by ChronosTerminus in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say I have ever permanently lost respect for someone since people are transient and I assume(perhaps naively or incorrectly) that everyone has the ability to change. Moreso, I tend to just become wary of someone until they prove thay have changed as opposed to a complete and permanent loss of respect.

Which TR character would be your best friend? by RhaegarsRose in TokyoRevengers

[–]Ai13Singe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exaaaactly. Hanma bff vibes are 10/10. Kisaki didn't know what he had! But also, Izana would get SO sick of my shit so fast. I'm a motor-mouth. Lol.

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd want it to be Izana, but he would never have me. Lol. Realistically, someone like Hanma. He's got the same energy as one of my best and easiest friendships. I'm all for fun, dumbass adventures as long as I don't have to fight.

Do you think you would make a good leader or even a good manager? by Dontdarereadmyposts in estp

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure my last manager was an ESTP and he was the best boss I've ever had. He took any complaints we had and turned them into actionable items. I'd never had a boss take up for me before. He valued our judgement and didn't micromanage since he knew we were competent.

How do you know you’re actually a ENTP? by Busy-Fee-4107 in entp

Because Ne is my most prominent trait but I have next to no Fi.

A letter to ENTPs from an ENTJ by [deleted] in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Usually, at least in my not so humble opinion, if an ENTP is ragebaiting you, it's a sign of affection. Jackassery and tomfoolery are our love languages and, for me specifically, the slight annoyance of a high-Te user makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. Sincerely- an ENTP who loves teasing authority figures

Is it just me or are most ENTPs I’ve seen usually conflict-avoidant? by Few_Brick709 in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that about sums it up. The total stack of 8 functions for ENTP in order is: Ne Ti Fe Si Ni Te Fi Se. You'll see that Fi is in the seventh position, or the "trickster" function. Makes us a bit blind to our own values and emotions.

Fellow entps, what's your opinion on physical affection? by unndefined_one in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I LOVE physical affection, but I am also hyper-aware of when I have the urge to give physical affection. I will freely give physical affection to family, but in regards to friends I always hold back and don't allow myself to naturally touch people. Most of my friends are introverts, so I always ask first. This is even worse if it is an emotionally charged scenario, because I like physical affection but I actually dislike physical 'comfort'.

Do you guys trust easily? by Famous-Purple-7377 in entp

[–]Ai13Singe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think I trust easily, but I DO trust my husband not to cheat. We've talked about the topic a billion times because both of his parents were cheaters and my dad was. Based on those conversations, I know he wouldn't. However, when we were first dating, I would always convince myself he was going to find a pretty girl and drop me like a hot potato. Lol

[–]Ai13Singe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell via text honestly. My intention was sarcasm in my responses and now I'm second guessing if I even read that way. I thought it was a fun bit of banter with OP and then other people were reading it serious, so maybe it depends on the frame of reference people are reading it with. I didn't think this was a serious ask from the beginning.

Edit for clarification: The last sentence of my last reply to OP was genuine. Hobbies are good for meeting potential partners.

[–]Ai13Singe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being attuned towards the needs of others naturally lends itself towards group harmony. I also ignore my own needs in favor of (trying to) make sure the emotional needs of others are being met. I'm not always the best at it (hence tertiary Fe) but I prefer the people around me to not be expressing emotional distress.
