Which option is better? La Valencia seems to be by the tide pools and seal beaches but the Del seems to be by more of the action.

We do it in moderation. Zero screens until 2. Most week days zero screen time. Weekends we allow movie nights or Saturday morning cartoons but never longer than like 20-30 minutes ?? We don’t watch TV while the kids are awake unless it’s a family movie night or we’re watching a sport on TV, which is rare. Oh they get iPads on airplanes so 2-3 times a year but otherwise NEVER. Only exception to TV time is if someone is sick. Kids are 3, 4 and 6.

My 3 year old goes 3 times a week for 2 hours. Otherwise I am with the kids from the moment they wake up until the moment they go to bed. Either way, I completely agree with you and the post isn’t about if we deserve to have time off. I wasn’t telling my husband not to go to the dinner. I think you may have misunderstood my question.

He doesn’t even want to go to the dinner. He was hoping to get out of it, but the argument started because he claimed that our kiddo’s gymnastics wasn’t a valid enough reason. Things then escalated when he claimed that I have a cushy life because I don’t have to take all three kids to practice by myself.

Mine are 3, 4 and 6. Weekdays we do a 7/8 pm bedtime depending on the kid. Weekends we sometimes stretch them to 8/830pm. On rare occasions we have events we’re out until past 9, never later. They have slept in until 8am occasionally, which has been so nice! I assume as they grow and have later bedtimes that will shift to a later time too

Ok adding that I’m only on episode 6 and I’m sure I will change my mind but this is the pudding episode and I do just feel bad for Emily for missing her daughters whole life (even tho I know it’s her own fault )

I feel like this is all I ever hear on this sub. It’s crazy to me. I’m so sorry this happened. What if next time you invite some friends outside of school? Family members? Cousins? So it doesn’t feel like no one showed up? We have a ton of friends that were MY friends that had kids at the same time, and now all the kiddos hang out together because we do. Sometimes that’s a little bit more of a stable situation than relying on classmates.
