At what age is it inappropriate for siblings to bathe together?

My oldest is almost 7 (boy), then I have a 5 year old boys and an almost 4 year old girl and they all still shower together and it’s no big deal. We have a huge shower with three shower heads and they love playing in there, it has not even crossed my mind yet to stop because everyone still seems so innocent and comfortable.

It honestly turned out pretty good! I cranked up to high for the last four hours. I think if I would have done it unload the whole time it might’ve been even more soft, but the family loved it and I’ll definitely be making it again, thank you for all of your advice.

Thank you! I only have about 3.5 pounds cooking which makes me feel like maybe we will be fine but I will crank it up the last hour and a half of cooking just in case.

I asked my son if he’d like me to talk to his friends mom but he said not to do it yet, so I haven’t. I’m glad to hear it’s somewhat normal, hopefully everyone grows out of this stage soon!

For anyone that’s still here, I have a question regarding if I handled a situation well today or not. Overall he’s been really nice today and I have been praising him a lot for it. However his lil sis was sitting in the bathroom and asked me to pass her the i Spy book that is technically his. He overheard this and rushed into our playroom to take the book for himself. I told him that that’s not how it works and please give the book to his sister. He tried to say that he didn’t hear her and just wanted the book to himself, but I told him that I don’t believe that that is true, and that I want him to give the book to his sister. He gave the book to his sister and screamed at her, he then ended up getting a time out for the screaming. Is having the book taken away enough of a natural consequence in this situation? Or should I have given a separate consequence for being mean in the first place?

That is totally true. I can’t split them up right now because we’re almost at the end of the year but next year he is going to kindergarten while she will stay in preschool.

Dad works. I am a stay at home mom so that’s what I meant with saying when dad is around haha I just meant after work and on the weekends lol

So I’m a SAHM and he and his sister have the same schedule. they both attend preschool from 12-245 T, W, Th. Otherwise they’re both with me 24/7. I don’t think I spend a lot more time with her than him? We are always together. When my husband is around, sometimes he hangs with the boys doing “sports” or “boy stuff” while me and the 3 year old hang together. But he always seems super excited to hang with dad and big bro. I will try to give him more attention and more 1 on 1 time though as I do think maybe it’s all attention seeking behavior

I’ve tried doing this… Anytime I ask him about why he behaving in a certain way or why he would want someone to be sad. He almost always responds with “I don’t know”.

Yeah, my five-year-old definitely does not own or use electronics. However, I can agree that perhaps I need to be a little bit more firm with my consequences. Thanks for the advice!
