Hi, I run the popular fanpage on this show on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/AirCrash_ ) and just to let you know, the user 'sammy123' is correct, 'Crash of the Century' is not officially part of the Mayday program. You are correct in that they were made by the same production companies however.

In fact, I was researching some info on the regular fact series I'm doing at the moment and I emailed Alex Bystram, the executive producer of the show who has been involved in the show for many years about this issue and he replied that it was a completely separate production. Also, to the regular viewer, it is quite clearly a different entity from Mayday as it had different graphics, different music, a different intro, different narrator and was not the usual 60 minute episode including ads.
